Good morning!

@Bea-FL , those orchids are so breathtaking.

@Janet H , I usually have somewhat of a plan of what and where I want to put things, but when they come, I usually change my mind and then find I purchased too many (NEVER) and they sit in the pots until I can find a spot.....I've placed some pots directly on the soil and they overwintered and the roots have planted themselves through the pots. Then, I have a real dilemma.

It's beautiful out there this morning, cool enough to get some outside work done, but am feeling rather lazy this morning!

Morning All! Great weather! Yes, the Orchids are beautiful I believe anytime that we can see the beauty of something alive & thriving has an aesthetic quality to it... very calming to say the least. Has anyone here kept Tropical Fish? Goldfish or Koi ponds? That was my past before retirement... probably 50+ years devoted to farming and to the hobby, so if anyone is interested I'll look for some of my interesting videos or photos to ease some of this anxiety for you.

I've got to do something to break my bleak mood down, so, I'm heading out for a round of golf .. the courses are open with some restrictions, it's currently 78o and rising, the Sun is out .. the wind is low .. it will be a bit soft on the ground, but, oh well ..

Probably do 9 holes unless I'm feeling energetic .. it's walk only, no carts unless you're disabled ..

Years ago, when I first golfed, I met an old man and asked him, "How long does it take to learn how to golf .. ??" with a straight face, he said "The rest of your life .."

And, before I head out, I'll mention that I may hit the Kroger and see what's up on the meat department .. and / or the Aldi .. never hurts to pick up some with these rumors of a meat shortage pending .. it really won't be a shortage per se, it will probably be a big price increase .. meat might be the new toilet paper ..

I don't buy meat at Walmart for various reasons ..

At work today. Not an essential job but who's going to complain about a groomer being open? My eye is a little sore. I had laser surgery yesterday. Next visit I get the eye injection but that's not till the end of may.

Absolutely love them. Just can't have any since I have heard they are poison to my cats if they chew on them.
Granddaughter has eleven plants in their house, but then ..she has dogs.

Good morning, all. I hope everyone's day is a good day. I went out yesterday and did a bit of yardwork. While I was using the edger/trimmer it died on me. I went to Home Depot to replace it and got there at 6:03 PM and they had closed at 6:00 PM. Oh well, I'll just have to go back a bit later today. Since I was out, I went to Sam's and did some shopping. The freezer is now stocked for another month. Of course, the walking wasn't kind to my back so now it is not allowing me to get comfortable to sleep so I napped in my recliner for a while.
@Uncle Willie, I hope your game went well. I haven't been out to the greens in quite a while. There is a little 9 hole city course in Midwest City that was always fun. The last time I was there the fee was a daily fee as long as there weren't a lot of golfers or a tournament going on.

Good morning Diver. Looks like we're having a heat wave - our high today is supposed to be 75!! It'll be cloudy with provably some rain, but it'll be the warmest day so far this year I think.

It's amazing how organized we can be about where we want to plant everything when it's the middle of winter. Yesterday I planted 3 plants and I'm not sure what one of them is! It really needed to get into the ground so it'll be a surprise. Figured I liked it when I bought it and you can never have enough flowers.

A notice came that the veggie plants are on their way along with more flowers and the garden isn't tilled yet. Looks like I'm going to be very busy soon!

Never did get into having a pond, but I did have a fish tank for the kids when they were little. We found on old tire outside that filled with water and then started growing mosquitoes. We scooped some up and fed our fish with them. Boy were they happy!

The thought of us moving after 32 years in this large house is overwhelming. My niece moves every 2-3 years so she never stayed put long enough to gather lots of stuff. No extra anything at their houses and they're big houses! At least 1 time she was on a cruise during the settlement of her house. She came home knowing she'd be moving in 1 week and wasn't concerned at all. Sheesh!

I hope your move goes smoothly. Just don't exhaust yourself!

You would think I would not have a ton of stuff as this will be my 3rd move in 4 years but I am going from a 4 bedroom house to one room at my daughter's house. Bad part was the thrift stores wouldn't accept donations during the virus so I had no choice but to pack it up and take it there. Plan on having a big yard sale as soon as possible.

Too late for the advice on exhaustion. I am near the end of my rope I am so tired. I think I have 3 more boxes to pack and paint one wall, clean and organize the garden stuff. I have less than a week to do it so have to push ahead.

Oh well huh... there is always tomorrow! The learning curve is pretty steep for this old school farmer. (Especially the Videos.)

A baby step this time though... Yuh Gotta Luv FLO-RE-DUH! ...about 10 acres give or take, rentals keep me in vaporizer stuffs...(Always wanted the latest vape.)... tropical fish paid the bills from starting about 47 years ago to about 20 years ago when I re-tired and they be friends of mine too!

Ohh... I had some (under pond surface) up from 2014 a friend did for me...WAIT... you thought I meant an Aquarium? ...got those too! Swim with the fishes my friends, swim with the fishes... so quiet, so peaceful!

Wow, I didn't realize you were a tropical fish farmer! So that's how it's done. Pretty impressive. What other types of fish did you have? Years ago when we had our tank our angels probably came from you!!
