Good morning. It's a lovely morning here, cloudy, but going up to 67! Perfect weather to work in the garden. Yesterday I got a lot of my flowers potted up so nice to sit here with my coffee and vape and see them all sprinkled around the deck. Now grow little plants, grow!

Are you asking me about my tablet or talking to someone else? My tablet is dead. It appears we got all the water out but the damage was done the first night. I've found a few refurbished that are under $50. My DH and I had decided we each get $50 of the stimulus money to get whatever we want. Guess I'll be buying a fire8. Whatever I get I'll never bring it in the bathroom no matter what the circumstances are at the time. o_O
They just came out with an improved version due out very soon, on sale for 50$.

Thank you! I almost bought one last night but DH pulled out an old Verizon tablet a friend had given us and I thought he had lost it.
It's ok but the screen is a bit smaller. Since I'm reading with only one eye the slightly bigger screen makes a difference.
I'll use this Verizon until I can find a new fire 8 on sale. Thanks for the heads up!

Yes, you :) Figured it'd been a couple days in rice, and hoped for different results.

Steady rain is over for a bit, forecast is for scattered showers. So we might be bone dry while the neighbor might be rushing to finish his ark.

    I really like your haircut!

    Hola .. :)

Kay, I did not get a haircut .. unless I get a Flowbee or go to the "underground barber", there are, as yet, no haircuts to be had .. I drive by my regular place most days, and the curtains are still drawn and the Barber Pole is not spinning ..

Brylcream, little dab will do ya. They love to run their fingers through your hair.

OK, so I am a jingle junkie. You know you have been home too long when you sing TV show theme songs and hum the jingle your washer and dryer makes when done with the cycle....

Do you treat them as annuals or will they come back next year. I was thinking some globe amaranth might be nice in my bed.

BTW the cardinal vines are doing great!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone has a good day today!

After 3 years I have car insurance again and can start driving! I'm both nervous and excited at the same time. But I'm gonna be driving all around my neighborhood today. I wonder if I should put out a public service announcement.

Good morning. It's a lovely morning here, just a bit breezy, but the sun is shining off and on through the clouds.

One of the plants I potted up is a Night Sky Petunia. I like petunias, but don't like handling them because they're sticky, but this flower is just so cool!

Yesterday I got the weeds pretty much hoed off the garden (since it's not getting tilled this year). Then I laid down landscape fabric and got 4 tomato plants in. Today I'd like to get the onion sets in (I know it's way late) and the rest of the veggies. This fabric didn't look like it was letting the water seep through. Looks like I got the spun one instead of the woven one so guess I'll be poking some holes all over. At least the sun beating down on that black cloth should kill any weeds trying to come up. Later I'll fold some of the edges back to make sure water gets in. The only problem with getting this done is crawling around all over the garden and getting up and down. These old bones are not too happy about it, but at least it's exercise and I'll have a beautiful garden when it's done.

Depending on the weather, the gomphrenas will come back. Like to change it up, so that's OK.
So glad the cardinal vines are working for you! Using Cypress vines this year; hope I don't regret it! :)

Globe amaranth in a mass planting looks lovely, although I just planted two in a pot along with some other Fla. perennials.
Also trying to duplicate a pot I had last year with iresine, also in the amaranth family, which presents a really showy leaf; nothing else needed!
