I just do morning and night time pills. I have 4 weekly boxes, so I fill them bi-weekly. Large boxes are for the morning and small ones for night time. I think I'm on 6 or 7 meds and also take 3 or 4 supplements so that's a lot of pills to be messing with. Just was too much of a hassle doing it weekly,

I have a plastic bag of bottles that I grab in the morning and at night and just pull out the ones I need. A problem is that my inhalers don't fit in a little pack. I keep a prescription bottle in my briefcase for the afternoon at work. If I'm ever stopped, it's one of those suspicious meds so I'd need to prove it's my prescription.

@FranC - that' not fair - no prescriptions?! LOL. I'm younger than you! My next physical is in April. A lot hangs on the blood work, the doc may add more to my daily grind. She threatened to last year. Sigh.

Guess I’m lucky I have no prescription pills.
You definitely are and I think that is wonderful. I am envious. Please don't tell me you fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow. Then I will be jealous.

My 90-year-old aunt that I have mentioned before takes no prescription meds and it amazes me. That probably has something to do with being 90 years old and healthy. I think they give way too many scripts out these days. There was a time when I was seeing 3 doctors and they had me on so much that I stopped taking everything but my thyroid meds and you know what? I felt better. I might be getting ready to pull that again! Sheesh!

I might have to change to filling my meds once a month. I did it every two weeks so I could keep up with "Cut Hair Sunday".

It still seems weird not buzzing someone's head every other week. I cut dad's hair for 37 years, every other Sunday. Look at how much money I saved him during that time. And thank goodness he left it to me so I could buy shoes!

Just so you know, I have not bought a single pair this year. But summer is coming up so I will have to get some so I can have happy feet.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I thought earlier this week that it was going slower but nope, it's Friday again and I am excited. I am having another dinner/movie night with my friend! Yay!
Bouncing.gif
No popcorn this week but I got a huge bag of HotTamale's at WallyWorld the other day in hope that we would do this again. Hard to believe I was never a Girl Scout because. . . I'm always prepared.

Morning, all.

That break in the rain yesterday? Nope. Maybe today. Or not...

I have not bought a single pair this year.

Well, we're not 3 weeks into it yet.... ;)

it's Friday again and I am excited.

Uh, only Thursday, settle down!!

No kidding. Some years before she passed, I was handling most of the meds and "online" medical stuff for my MIL, who like many was on a LOT of drugs. Going through her records I see that her cholesterol has been around 100 for years - but she's on meds for cholesterol. Uh, why?? Contact her doc and ask him. His response? "I don't know." Uh, well, doc, if YOU don't know why you keep refilling the 'script, I guess we're going to stop that one!!

Good morning Torey. Rainy day here, but at least it's 41 this morning so not too bad as long as I don't have to spend too much time outside.

Our new chiropractor is wonderful! Turns out he was on the phone with our old one 1/2 hr before we arrived. Boy was he thorough, and gentle. He even gave us his card with his cell phone in case we were having any problems! Took X-rays and only charged us 2 for 1 since Medicare won't pay for the exam/testing, only the adjustment. How stupid. Why would you want a chiropractor to adjust you before taking an x-ray to see what's up?

Grocery shopping on the To Do list today and I have to pick up the little guy from pre-school at noon. Otherwise it should be a quiet day - yeah, we'll see about that.

We're only 19 days into the new year, but I have faith in you. I've never been a collector of shoes. When we moved here I brought 2 pair of shoes, 1 pair of sandals and 1 slipper boots. I had a lot more when I worked, but got rid of most of them. 1 pair of black dress shoes should do me just fine. Must be something wrong with me. I don't like shopping, don't feel the need for lots of shoes or clothes. Now PJs I could load up on. I love the soft stretchy ones and they're so pretty.

Had my peeper's recheck today for the new contacts and everything looked good. I went ahead and ordered the years from them so I would not have to worry about it. They gave me 2 rebates to fill out. One is for $100 and the other is for $65. Isn't that wonderful? So I basically got my contacts (that I dearly love) for $215. And that's for the whole year. He recommended I get new lenses because my eyes have changed. They always do. I bet the glasses will cost more than my contacts. Doesn't matter. I have to see and I don't want to miss anything.

    Good morning!

I went to sleep rather quickly last night but I have been up since 4. Darn it. That's okay cause I got a load of wash done and played hide & seek with my tooter. I got dressed for the gym as soon as I got up and finally found it in the pocket of my robe. Sheesh! That sure has been happening frequently as of late.

Hope everyone has a fantabulous Friday!

Good morning! What a gorgeous morning! It's 45 and the sun is shining. I should go for a walk, well, after my coffee...

Had to get fasting blood work done at 8:00 so I'm late getting started on my coffee. I used to go to LabCorp in a specific building for lab work, but now they're located in any Wallgreens Pharmacy. How convenient, but it feels weird going to our local drug store for medical stuff.

Funny thing about how our eyes change. I've heard from several people that their near vision improved since they got older. That's great that you got such a good deal on your contacts.

What you have to pay for frames always makes me angry. All frames are made by just 3 companies. How they can justify the prices they charge is beyond me. A year ago I needed glasses so a friend suggested I go to Costco. Wow! I got 2 pair for less than I paid for 1 pair at any other glasses place I've ever been to and I love them. I can still go stop in for adjustments if needed. Don't know if you have a Costco near you or maybe BJs or Sams Club etc, but maybe check them out.

    Morning, all.

Maybe another nearly dry day is the guess. We actually did see the sun a few times yesterday, and the rain was mostly gone. Might actually get the raking done before the next storms.

Can I get excited now? Can I? Can I? View attachment 988655
    Ok :)

Yeah, generally pretty spendy plastic... I tend to just get new lenses in old frames, until the ear piece wrap goes away. Yeah, nuts. Slap some "designer" name on the injection molded frame and it's worth more?? Nah, not to me!!
