Thankful tonight that our big snowstorm got downgraded.

Totally going to bypass you? Or....not going to dump quite as much snow?

I don't have a car to dig out anymore, I always have the pantry stocked with staples, and if I didn't have to clean off the sidewalk out front, I wouldn't mind the amount of snow I get here. I don't think I could handle the amount you get in NH....

As I posted on another thread we had a little excitement this evening. I got my new bread knife in the mail today from Amazon so I tried it. Wellllllll, it cuts bread really well but it also cut the palm of my hand because of the way I held the loaf of bread to cut it. 3" laceration . Stupid me . It cost me a trip to the ER and 6 stitches.

is anyone having problems with ECF today? slow as molasses for me but other websites I was on are running fine.

Yep you are lucky. @clnire is still having problems with her thumb, and it is important in her work. Did the advertisement say it was sharp?

I turned away 3 jobs today .. telling the people that they can either leave it and I'll see if I can get to it, but won't guarantee I can before Christmas .. they left in a huff .. oh, well ..

Oh no! I can just picture how you were holding the bread - so many people do that! You didn't go deep enough to cut any tendons did you? Now just be careful it doesn't get infected. Maybe put some Neosporin on it? I hope it heals up quickly for you and I'm glad you didn't cut anything off!
