Good morning everyone...

That 90% humidity must be because it's once again raining here today....and tomorrow. Somebody needs to wake Mother Nature up and tell her to knock off the April Showers...it's nearly July...;) For every couple of nice days I've been getting....I get an equal number of rainy days...o_O

@Janet H and anybody else shopping....don't know if you've seen this place online...
About GrowJoy - GrowJoy, Inc
It's the best place I've ever ordered plants from... Their method of packing is incredible in comparison to others, pricing is good...plants are lovely and healthy, and...they don't rip you off on shipping...;)

We only got a little spritz of rain today although it's looked like it was going to rain any minute. The 10 day forecast is falling for T-storms tonight and tomorrow morning, but the next 10 days there's only a minimal chance for any rain. Maybe Mother Nature is listening to you!

Yes, that looks like a nice place to order plants. I'd never heard of it before. Thanks for the recommendation.

The last few days have been quite mild and as a bonus, have delivered much needed Rain .. my yard is visibly back in the grow ..

However, all good things come to an end eventually, and the Outlook is :: (which will bring high Humidity since we've had good rains .. o_O) ..

Willie, that's just ugly! You won't have to worry about cutting your grass. Maybe this is a good time to do inside projects.

OMG Willie those temps are insane for your area. They're even hotter than our norms

@Anise don't they numb your eye when you get those shots?
Yes they numb my eye and use a tiny needle. I only felt it once. It wasn't too bad cause my eye was partially numb. They made sure it was totally numb after that.

Hubby fell off the ladder. It was only two rungs but enough that we needed to go to urgent care and have his fingers bandaged and he was given a tetanus shot. Has other scrapes cause he fell directly onto the coquina! Tomorrow we go for X-rays! They found it a bit amusing cause I'm still in a boot and he was bandaged.

We're just Frick and Frack!

My turn to nurse him now!

I got those shots once a month in my right eye for almost three years. Definitely not fun but I was able to keep my right eye so it was worth it. I have this thing against losing either of my eyes whether or not they work.

Definitely, but the thought of getting a needle stuck in my eye makes me cringe! It's a shame eye drops won't do the trick, but you're right, its' worth it to save your sight.

Good grief! He's really lucky it was only his fingers that got hurt. I hope he's not too sore in the rest of his body today after a jolt like that. What a pair you two much look like!

During the night I woke up briefly hearing some thunder and hard rain, but wasn't prepared this morning to see the amount of rain we got! Sheesh! It had o be several inches because we're going to have to remove some water from the pool because it's filled to the top! We've got a huge lake in the back yard that only happens if we have torrential rains. A mama and fawn were romping around in the water just having a great time.

Good morning everyone!

Actually the shots were in my blind eye for a few reasons but the main one was to bring down the pressure so I didn't lose my eye. Blind or not I couldn't bear the thought of losing an eye.

It rained hard here all day yesterday and through the night. Eased up a bit this morning..long enough for me to pluck toadstools that have decided to grow in the pot with the zucchini plants...o_O Thunderstorms called for most of today and then....a week of temps in the 90's and NO rain... summer may be arriving...

Have you given consideration to changing your cleaning service?

Here's a shot of the back yard when I woke up this morning. We've got to have torrential rains for it to form a lake in the back yard. It was all gone within 2 hours. There's a brick drain that vents the water to a small stream beyond the berm that flows into the Perkiomen Creek.

We barely got a sprinkle here all day yesterday although it looked like it was going to pour any moment. You must have been getting it all. The sun keeps trying to break through here, but mostly our rain is done for the day. Brace yourself for the heat and nasty humidity that's coming and, of course, there could always be a pop-up t-storm at any time. Ugh! It's sauna time!

It was 66 outside a bit ago. They are predicting three days of heat with no night-time relief. I removed the window fan and closed the LR window.

I nearly filled a large garbage can with weeds from around the building. Several hours each day for the past few days. Polled each resident asking permission, and what they wanted to be left alone. One person likes yellow woodsorrel, which many regard as 100% weed. Wrote a two-page note of instructions for the maintenance guy after administration told me to stop because of liability issues. It was good exercise without being on my feet, I sat on a child's step-stool.

There was a rebellion against weed-killers several years ago, and it has gotten out of hand. New natural recipe available which seems to please the natural people.
