I thought your "Street" on the credenza was great .. .. and probably best for those pieces .. otherwise, just shape some Styrofoam blocks to suit and spray paint .. the problem with these things is they are just a big hassle (but they look nice) ..

I never really knew of it before, but last Holiday Season, I discovered that a few folks had started up a "Christmas Decoration" business .. where you supply the stuff and a crew comes in and puts up all the outdoor material and does the inside as well if you're willing to pay for it .. kinda takes the "Griswold" out of the Holiday .. I don't know what they charge, but that's the modern World, I guess .. everything seems to eventually get a dedicated Business you can use to take care of your personal needs and do it through an App ..

Maids, Yard Work, Decorating for Holidays, Meals Ready to Cook by Mail, Personal Shoppers, Uber, etc .. used to, a pizza was about the only thing you could get delivered, now you've got GrubHub ..

I hate to ask but what is GrubHub?

I'm not at all sure, but our KFC's sign informs us that we can order takeout through GrubHub, and I see the McDonald's in Rio Rancho has a similar arrangement through some part of Uber.

Although I had not thought of it in a few years, I collected the "Halloween Village" material for quite a while .. it's been boxed up for ages .. BTW .. nice book matched wood grain on that credenza .. .. I'm guessing you have to sprinkle the snow around after display .. ??

Yes, the snow is sprinkled around after the village is set up. It helps to have a hand vac for clean up.

Whoa! Your village is amazing. Did you have to buy the different level setting or did you make it? I did mess with different levels for the houses several years ago and used a white cloth to drape around, but just haven't had the time or energy the past few years. It's either cookies and dobas torte or the village-not both. It is fun and relaxing to assemble everything and add the little touches but when you go to that much trouble to put it up it's kind of sad to put it all away again.

why not leave it up year round?

huh, I think I saw come-ons for outfits to decorate the outside of 'your' house ... but I haven't seen or heard about a crew to do the inside decorating.
