I would try physical therapy first. I had/have the same problem. Severe tendonitis and bursitis in both shoulders. 2 doctors wanted to operate and the other suggested PT first. I've been doing PT for several months and my shoulders are a lot better. I still have to do more strengthening exercises though because I still don't have all my strength yet. I would think twice about surgery as a first option.

Thanks Terry.

I wasn't kidding about winning a medical lottery. Maybe when I get better medical insurance next year. I don't like to be cut into either.

I know how it is getting conflicting opinions from the health community. I subscribe to Dr. Mercola's website which is free. He not only gives his own research and expert opinions, but he interviews the world experts on each of their specialties. For example, if it's heart concerns, he interviews Dr. Stephen Sinatra (one of my favorites), and Dr. Doris Rapp for allergies.

If you want to hear some great interviews without subscribing to his newsletter, you can see tons of his interviews on uTube. Just so you know, though, some of the interviews go into an hour or more.

Nite dearheart.

I am not here....but am butting in. The story was that fish oil causes prostate cancer in men. But the study was flawed....none of the subjects were taking fish oil supplements BUT they had elevated levels of DHA which is what fish oil does to the body. Now the question is...did the DHA levels cause the cancer or did whatever made their DHA levels elevate cause the cancer. So the verdict is still out on fish oil....I took hubs off it because of the controversy. A 77% increase in risk of prostate cancer....nothing to ignore. More research is needed before anyone really knows.

Night again.

There is an anniversary thread for Ocelot in the lounge:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...ry-ocelot.html

I'm up and getting ready to do laundry/clean a little. Astrid has been fed but did not eat much. :(

dh held her for a long time last night, snuggled on his chest under a fur blanket piece. She peed and pooped on him when I went to put her in her carrier for the night. I expected a "to-do" over that but he took it in stride and just stripped his shirt for the laundry.

I've got school work to do this weekend - missing the first seven days of activities for Chem and have no idea where they could be since they are not in my notebook. Damn.

Welcome. It looked like the perfect toy for Hellraiser and the kitten and older cat reminded me of both of Glam's cats. :)

I was going to thank you for this also, Terry....but late night Tink beat me to it. It does look like a good toy for Hellraiser....if I can find it. I am still researching. And I wish my old cat would play with the new one like that. I have seen a couple of glimmers....she does like to go where he is playing and watch him....even occasionally acting like she wants to join in. Baby steps in this complex relationship. And he is starting to realize the spray bottle means back off.

Good Saturday Morning, Beachers.....

Getting ready to go to the Sweet Corn Festival, hoping to find some juicy, flavorful, Michigan peaches. Last year, a late freeze limited the peach crop in Michigan. :( I have bought some peaches in the store....they were no good. I do spend a lot of money on bad produce. Seems whomever is buying for the store does not taste the stuff first. Sometimes I take it back....more often I just pitch it. If there is an employee around in the produce department, sometimes I ask to taste before I buy.

This afternoon, I am watching granddaughter and making a meatloaf per hubs' request. He is working his construction job today, so I am roaming the streets spending his money this morning.:)

Hope you all are having a good weekend. Sun, good luck with the little girl and your lesson plans. Hope things go smoothly at work, Tink.

Thanks for posting this, Terry. It is great!

Still thinking of Sun and sending (((hugs))) her way!!

Missed you last night, Tink!:)

I bought one of those little barking dog toys for my pups. When I put it down for them and turned it on, Pippin barked and lunged, and his hair stood up; put it up for about a month and then tried again. Same thing, but thinking he was protecting the household from a monster, Pippin grabbed it by the ear and flung it a few feet. He was angry and trembling, so I ended up putting it in storage.

Aloha on the Beach!:)
