Hey Jag and the rest of the Beachers. Very cold here today and a bit windy. I was thinking about going for a walk but I'm trying to talk myself out of it 'cause it's so cold and last time I threw my back out again.
I didn't take any sleeping pills or whiskey last night to see how I sleep but I was up until 2am before I felt like I could sleep. I slept 7 hrs with one potty call. 7 hrs isn't enough for me so I'm dragging my ... again. But I had less interruptions in my sleep so that is good.
Was it Lisa that went to Italy? I would like a Bidet report please.
Glad you both made if back safely and had a grand time. The food looked delicious.

I went to Italy and Lisa went to Greece. There was a bidet in every place we stayed (a hotel, a B&B, and a villa). I used one once. I think there must be a learning curve to using them

My hubs cuts holes in glass.....I will ask him what he uses. He cut a hole in my wine bottle so I could put lights in it....so I don't need one of your cast offs.
Hey - let me know too. I have a bunch of supersize Brendan's irish cream bottles I want to stuff. I also saw where it is good to get a rubber grommet with hole in the middle and stick it in the hole and string the lights through it. I'm going to paint things on mine, and glitter the caps. Santa hats would be cute on top for Christmas.

DH claims I am a crazy cat lady everywhere we go, LOL. I noticed you mentioned the number of strays in Greece. There were quite a few in Italy too

Summer is my favorite season of the year. Thanksgiving-Christmas is my favorite time of the year for both secular and religious reasons... I enjoy all of it. Put up the Christmas tree on Black Friday and take it down on 1/2/?. Among the adults we do exchange gifts but on the small side... all of the attention and gifts go to my 9 year old niece who also also a Christmas baby (born 12/29). My favorite saying from her is: "It isn't my birthday until we have cake."
Me too. I love the Christmas lights inside and would leave it up all year if I didn't think it would take the dazzle away. This year I am going to make some of those light balls -- rolled and smashed chicken wire covered with lights and then strung where you can. And me too on Christmas birthday - 12/28.

I have an old iPad but can't get a lot of apps because of that. I have a wireless keyboard so I don't need that but I could use a case. Is that asking too much? I went for a short walk to stretch the muscles and my back hurts just as bad and my foot hurts more. I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't. 
Whoa! I got up after my last post to make a sandwich, almost fainted and then promptly threw up in the kitchen sink. I think I will go rest for awhile. Don't worry if you don't see me back - be glad, because it means I am asleep.

Going out for the 3 mile run a little early tonight. Thursday Night Football starts at 8:30. Cardinals v. Seahawks. Don't know if i'll be back... so i'll wish everyone a wonderful evening.
