No, you guys aren't being too much of a downer...I blame Mother Nature (well, her and climate change). It seems we are indeed getting more and more extreme weather these days. I'm sad for all of those people with massive losses, and I hope JJ isn't one of them. I hope that she is just dealing with a blown transformer down the street....

I noticed that this link, plus the one Dale posted, mentioned the ballgame that had to be delayed. Really??? I understand sports are important to people, but I just can't believe that the postponement of a game is so 'newsworthy' in a situation like this!
It's hard not to be concerned for our friends. Still hoping that JJ's sustained no damage, or it's minimal.
