The one thing that I hated was dial up. I was so glad when cable hit the area!

I still have my dial-up connected for when the satellite is down
Only costs $4 a month anyway... if I don't use it that is.

We were one of the first to get Dial-Up when it came, and one of the first to get Cable when it came, too. The Cable Co. has changed names 3 times, but I've been with them for ages now.

There is other options now. The cable company has never changed hands but the prices keep going up.

I might consider the other options.

The traveling. It's a long trip and the flying really gets to him so it would take DAYS for him to recover.

He does spend some time there but I think a lot of changes in his RL has a lot to do with it.

That and he has been here 5 years. He might change his mind in time ......hopefully.

He didn't kill his acct. I think he stills plan on keeping an eye on the social forum he monitors. THAT is why I think that we might see him now and then.
