Those disappearances.....that is what makes a happy marriage. Mine has a shop/man cave. When he goes out there, he is gone for hours and I do not see him, unless he steps out to the back side to let out some coffee/beer (depending on the time of day). He is killing the grass back there....but it does keep him out of the house.

DH put a bathroom in the garage Before that every time he had to go either me or my daughter was in the one in the house Unfortunately mine won't disappear for hours (yes I love mine too)

There's a bathroom by the garage and family room/man cave. It's nice.

Well except when I go back there to clean it. 8-o

jk again. He does pretty well keeping it clean.

I do not think it would matter if he had a bathroom out there....we have one right inside the house next to the garage entrance, and he elects to go outside. I bet he would walk right past a bathroom out there and go outside. I think they like waving it around in the breeze.

Well, anything with the word praline in it has to be good. Is this something I can find with a search.....or do you have a great old family recipe?

It is a pretty old recipe. As a wedding gift my mom had family and friends send her their favorite recipes. She typeset the recipes and made me a cook book. This recipe was from one of my aunts who is now deceased.

Praline Biscuits

Heat oven to 450
1 Cup butter
1/2 Cup packed brown sugar
36 pecan or walnut halves
Ground cinnamon
2 Cups Bisquick
1/3 Cup applesauce
1/3 Cup milk


Place 2 teaspoons butter, 2 teaspoons brown sugar, and 3 pecan halves in ea of 12 muffin cups. Sprinkle cinnamon in ea cup. Heat in oven until melted.
Mix baking mix (Bisquick), applesauce and milk until dough forms; beat 20 strokes. Spoon onto mixture in cups.

Bake 10 min; invert onto heatproof serving plate. Makes 12 biscuits.
