I haven't done the family Thanksgiving in years since I don't have any family around here......it's a group of friends who are also "orphans". I used to cook but not this year - yay!!!!!!!

When I do the orphans Thanksgiving, I'm usually required to bring an appetizer, but not this year

I usually dry dishes and put them away...not sure how I got that duty, but no worries

I don't bake much, I'd rather cook by the seat of my pants making it up as I go along

Most of the time I am exempt. Came to my DD and now I'm not. Something seems very wrong with this!!!
