I haven't ridden in 4 years now, but I used to ride every day, too. I really miss it. I feel like it's as close to flying as you'll get, on the ground.

I had a friend who lived back there way out in the country. She got snowed in for two months, and since she was living alone, she couldn't get her car shoveled out b/c she was up in the mountains.
She ordered all her items from online and the 4WD mail trucks delivered everything to her house everyday. I know Amazon was one website where she did business, but she also might have ordered from vitacost ... not sure. Just thinking that it would beat having to put chains on every trip and to get out in that horrendous weather.

Chat ya later jj and VG. Was going to make myself a cup of coffee today, put the water on to boil and the kettle boiled dry from me getting sidetracked ... giggling at Glam's bears. Going to go refill it. By then I'll prolly change my mind and have a glass of tea.

I can't drink beer Meggers ... it's to easy to slam, and then I lose control. I gave up all alcohol a couple of years ago; even champagne.
Not such a good thing b/c I like a slight happy buzz every once in a while. Maybe I could have a drink or two now ... maybe I'll try.
The problem was I would get to drinking a while back, and then I would fall off the vaping wagon. You know booze and cigs go together hand in hand for a smoker. The 2nd time I fell off the vaping wagon, I gave up all booze b/c the vaping was my priority and what made me happy ... the trade off. I never had a hack like some ppl did, but I did have to always clear my throat before answering the phone.
So now, I'll be smoke-free for 4 years this coming 4th of July, so I'm sure I would be fine with a beer now and then since I can't even stand the smell anymore.

Hi Stone! The single digits are horrible if you have to drive in it. If you don't have to go out, just slip a tank top on, slither into some cutoffs and stoke the fire up, fix yourself some ice tea ... thinking positively all the time that it's warm enough for you. Be careful on the ice. I fell once on ice and couldn't get back up ... had to crawl toward the car to get a grip onto something.

At night...I bounce in a couple of bars. So it was really hard to have a beer and not smoke. It got easier when they outlawed smoking inside a few years back. But you are right. There is just something about those 3,998 chemicals and carcinogens in a ciggy that go well with alcohol. Every now and then I'll go outside with someone and they'll ask me to smoke with them. But...I take a hit and WHOA! It tastes awful! Then I'm like...how do people DO that when they could be vaping?
