ThanksThanks, Stone.....it is a beautiful snow.....sticking to everything. A wonderland, like in photos. And if you do not have to go out...it is fun to sit inside and appreciate it.
Hope you enjoy your evening out....dinner with friends is one of my favorite life experiences.
I'm sure the first half hour will be fantastic... after that, who knows?? 
I just don't love it once it becomes ugly and gray and I have to walk through it 
For Tink -- it fits her so perfectly.
The "check engine" light had been reset and apparently it has to be driven for 75-100 miles before it will pass. I hope the light doesn't come back on and he doesn't get another ticket for driving with expired inspection 
Son said "You are right mom. Grandmom's is better" (the little schitt). Must have been OK though... he ate 6 drumsticks!!

You win some, you lose some. Sorry you lost with the inspection and the fried chicken. 6 drumsticks sounds like validation to me, though...so I count that as a win really. I promise to not guilt you into anything else for at least a month!!!
Of course I am picking with you . Pokey and I always used to pick with each other that we would win the "Mom of the Year" award - NOT 
And it is another, get up to big time snow, morning here in Illinois. Hi, Beachers. jj must have sent to snow north after I made my comment....no snow when we went to bed, but got up to what looked like all night snow. Another 4 inches or so....my sister from Arizona has been staring out the window all morning in amazement. A good day to stay in. We were planning on going to visit my sister in the rehab center....but no go. And I think they got even more down there which is a 110 mi. south.
So today, my fair-weather sister and I will do some visiting. Maybe get down tomorrow to see other sister.
I have not back read....will do that when I get some time.
