Yes, it went well. Just took longer than I expected. It was partially donation work for Manna House; a place here that feeds the homeless. A computer was donated that I rebuilt. I was paid for that separately by another friend. They had been remodeling the location and had moved to another location while that was going on. I helped them move some things and get the remodeled location's office configured so the computer could be installed, helped with some other stuff, and I donated that. Once that was finished, I setup the computer in the office, installed another program, and they fed me, too. Very good cooking for a place like that. I was highly impressed by the cook. I charged half my rate for today's work to the lady who contacted me about all of it. The computer and printer had been donated by someone else, but my friend had organized it all and contacted me for this work. She is trying to get Manna House more organized, and is doing a great job of it. They never had a computer before this.
After that, I had another call, so it was a good day.

Tonight, I have to dress up.....8-o8-o8-o I do not do that often....I think I have worn the same two outfits for the last five years to this thing. During the social hour, I try to charm them with my personality so they do not look too closely at the clothing.
But I do just stick to the basic black dress, so that I am always in style.

I'm sorry you're losing your friend Vapoor eyes er.
That is like Lis leaving us. He's been on ECF so long. I only met him last March (or so) when I first visited the Beach. I'm sure you've noticed how the Beach comes to life when he's here. I hope he never totally leaves ECF. Maybe you can still meet with your friend on FB.

I never got up the nerve to ask him to be "friends" VG, just ran across him a lot in the New Member's forum and he was the first person to help me when I asked a question on ECF. I've never forgotten him for that reason.
Have you been able to ask why he's leaving, or do you already know?

I used to help out there some, but that was a long time ago. I never saw any rudeness or stupidity. It's sad if it has degenerated to that. I don't know who is being rude with who, but that's a good way to run off the newbies, along with people like Vapoor eyes er. I would thank that ECF would be looking into this... monitoring it better than that, and putting a stop to it.

Yes dear, and the trouble maker was forced to leave ECF but the damage was all ready done.
At least there was an action taken. Hooray for ECF. I think the person deserved it, if all the posts had to be deleted.
