It's been a while since I had green beer. I learned to like it when Sam I Am was around, serving up green eggs and ham.
I was a member of an Irish Pub in New Orleans. We had a Saint Patrick's Day Marching Parade that was a blast. We marched from our pub to every bar in the area, stopping for a while for at least one beer, making a circle on the way back to our pub. We carried stalks of green paper roses and handed them out to the ladies... for a Kiss. We also had green and silver aluminum doubloons to throw, and candy for the kids. When we got back to our pub, we had a party with a live band, and lots of green beer.
(That green smiley face is finally appropriate!)
I wonder if anyone serves Red beer for Valentine's Day.

I heard a commotion outside. It sounded like a big garbage truck's brakes, etc., so I went outside to see what was going on. There was a really big, brand spanking new Fire Truck parked across the street. Not a minute later, a cop car pulled up, and then another. Then an ambulance. There was a woman upstairs across the street they took away. She walked down the stairs on her own, but they took her away in the ambulance.
Whew... now I need some green beer. I might even take that Red's Ale about now.
