 Thanks! I think
How are you hon?

I'm good, luv, and I'm one of the "mature" ones, too... at least age-wise.

I don't know why but this made me think of Stone!

I watched a video recently about Easter Island and how the stone Moai heads were moved from the carving area to the shores. They had a theory that proved to be a real possibility.

Afternoon beachmates :D Have the "old" ones cleared out so we "young" grandchild-less ones can have some beach time??? :D

Sorry about your knee, Glam :( I hope the doc (if you get to go to the appt) can give you some answers!

DH surprised me today with my birthday present…. tickets to see Todd Rundgren!!! :toast: He must really love me because he does not like Todd's music but is willing to sit through a concert with me
Not all of us just turned 29 :D

Oldest gets her hair and eyes from DH's side of the family. I'm thankful neither have my side of the families nose. I didn't think I had it but as I get older it shows up more and more. The youngest has DH's blue eyes but gets most of her looks from mommy.

jj.....I never notice your nose until you mentioned it...but now I see what you mean. :D

Back from Dr.......what a harrowing trip. Very minimal plowing done....slipping and sliding all the way, but took it slow and made it back. We crossed the interstate....the only thing on it were the semis. And it is still snowing heavily.

Got right into the doctor because of so many cancellations...and the news was good. Even tho the nurse told me on the phone that surgery was my next option, the doctor said my knee is in too good of shape for any kind of surgery. They gave me another shot..this time something called Synvisc.....which is supposed to add cushioning. The good news...it is effective 80% of the time.:) The bad news it can take up to 6 weeks before totally effective. So, keep taking pain killers for a few more weeks.:( I had already read about it on all my Dr. Google sites....and some good, some bad reviews. I just have to trust the doctor's office...if they have such good results maybe they are better at giving the shots.

Hello, Glam.

Sorry you'll have to wait for your relief, but I hope you are one of the 80%, and that it takes quickly for you. :thumb:

I hope you have wonderful results Glam! And I'm glad you aren't looking at surgery.

OK… as much as I hate to do it… I gotta get ready for work. I'll try to peek in if I get the chance.

(((hugs))) beachmates!

See ya later. Be safe on the roads, and have a good shift. :)
