Don't know what I'll have. I'm thawing some hamburger, so if it gets thawed enough, I can use that with some Zatarain's Dirty Rice.

My mom made the greatest veggie soup. I knew how she did it but never could get it the same. Came close a few times.

Second time is better. Can say that for many leftovers.
I agree wholeheartedly. I can't understand why some people won't eat leftovers. Much of that food is better the second time, too.
My step-father was an excellent cook (sadly, I never spent any time in the kitchen with him to learn anything
). Sometimes, he would put a stew on for more than a day, and crock pot things would stay for a long time, too.

But it's also probably the sizes of the pinches of each different thing. Do you even really remember what each different thing was? Some cooks are artists, kinda like some seamstresses (not that you aren't
). K can cook by feel and has come up with some creative stuff. One of her best friends can make anything on her sewing machine, just by examining it one time in a store... no patterns or anything else.

I did get by battery charger!! Then I loaned the battery out. I get it back this Friday so I can recharge it and use it myself.
