Well, thank you. There is no rotating when I have a foster (or six lol) so I am happy to do this for the big ones. I will test her today to see how she does on a harness. If she seems okay with it I will take her outside on the verandah at lunch to gain her some exposure.

Are there special cat harnesses? I bought one for small dogs, and when I put it on Cadeau, she kneels down and creepy crawls. I've heard that cats cannot walk with something around their stomach, but it isn't that low.

I actually bought two. One for small dogs and one for medium. The small was too tight.

I use the x-small dog harness for adults. I like the kind that is fully formed like a little jacket that you just stick their feet into and then velcro the back. There is an additional strap with rings on it to hook the line to. VG - put Cadeau into the harness during the day for a few hours and let her run around the house with it on. After a few days, hook the line up to it and let her drag that around. Baby steps...

VG - yes, she CAN walk. She is just being petty. It takes some getting used to for them but Astrid walked marvelously with one on! Astrid... I miss my baby.

I know you miss her. I lost a very young one a long time ago. I cried for a long time. She was a baby that looked just like Lapis, before I got Lapis and Obie.

Put it on her for 2-3 hours, then take it off. Do it every day for awhile. She should get up and move when she realizes nothing is going to hurt her.

You guys were up all night posting.....it took me so long to back read that I am tired and now ready to go back to bed.

Hubs is up and gone to his office.....he says if people are not out, he will close up and come home. Most businesses are closed due to the cold. I feel sorry for retail when it is like this....I am sure they are not getting customers. That might make for some good sales when it warms back up!

I am late answering this because I have been shopping for.....you guessed it....COFFEE. We buy our beans from the internet and grind them ourselves. We keep trying from different regions around the world. Today, I ordered dark roasted Mexican Chiapas beans. We have tried Sumatran, Ethiopian (our two favs so far), Costa Rican, and Guatemalan.
