Back from lunch! A good time was had by both.
Looks like a pint of Guinness, extra cold.

Tink - so sorry about your son's accident. I'll bet it was quite a scare for everybody. Hope he is ok! The car.....did he hit a tree or a pole? Looks like something vertical.
Well, I made a financial commitment today. My niece just recently started graduate school. For her undergraduate, her step-dad (my brother's ex's husband, and they are now divorced too.....) encouraged her to attend a not-so-cheap school, telling her he'd have her covered. He defaulted on the deal and she came out with a huge debt, which she has paid off. My brother never offered any help, which I never knew about for a long time and which surprised me very much.
Anyway, she started grad school this month and is struggling. I told her I'd pay for the next two semesters... guess I'll have to cut back on my shoe budget!

Hi Lisa! That's a really nice thing to do. It sure takes some pressure off of your niece for a little. I'm sure she works and maybe this will let her get some savings toward the next semester. You're a good aunt!

lisa -- One New Year's Eve, many moons ago, I couldn't wait and went to the men's room. I averted my gaze as I walked to a stall but someone didn't like it and told that I was in there. The bouncer was waiting for me when I came out and tried to grab me but I ran like the wind and hid behind my big 'ol bil for awhile. That bouncer never did find me.

On the bathroom thing: I have done this so many times over the years and never had any complaints. Why wait when the men's is wide open???? There has only been one time when there was a complaint, and the complainers were (by the sound coming from the stall) partaking of an illegal substance. They were all "WHAAAT???? Get her out of here!", trying to take the focus off themselves. Often I use a guy to scope the room before I go in and for "lookout".

hahahahahaha....... My niece said they had a half-inch of snow where she lives (sort of near Tink), which canceled her classes for the day. She's also an Ohio girl so we had a good laugh about that!

Afternoon. I just got back. It was great getting out of the house!! I'm caught up to :why do I feel tipsy?
It is sprinkling here off and on. Very cold with the wind chill but I only had on a sweatshirt when I went to the store. Rain and possible sleet is all we will get at school.

I use "lookouts" too....I have no problem using the men's bathroom. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
Edited to add.....I have used a urinal....not something on which you would want to plop down hard, but does help get the job done.
