I feel for you! My son just called and wants me to watch my GS next week. Schools out!!! He is 6 and full of energy! Thankfully, there is a park for young kids right behind our house!

Glam - have some antiques here: A pie safe built by my ggf, my ggm's rocking chair, and some REAL antiques - two large rock slabs from their farm and another from their ice house. The flour box that goes with the pie safe was constructed of wooden boxes that held groceries as they were shipped around the country by train.
When I was a little girl my mother would tell me stories about life on their farm. The pie safe ALWAYS had at least 2-3 desserts in it. My ggm was big on using butter and cream. She was 4'9", weighed 250 lbs., and wore a size 3 shoe.
I have some other antiques around here from my grandmother and love going to the stores but don't buy much of anything unless it is something I can use - like my liquor cabinet.

Hello beach made it to a long weekend and no side work
Cold Beer in hand and ready to chat. I hope all of you are well. I missed you ALL
A friend of my from here at work had a bunch of giant trees fall apart in her back yard during the wind storm we had yesterday morning. Last night I went over cause when they fell...it ripped out her cable and power line. So I cut the lines free and got everything working again. I had to climb up in a tree with my chain saw to cut one big branch loose. It was 30 ft. up. Anyway...I got everything working. tonight I'll go back over and finish cutting up all the limbs. On Saturday...I'll need to fix the side of her house where it ripped a board off when it pulled the lines down. Other than that...nuthin.
