This is soooo true. Most snakes are not poisonous and are scared to death of you. I never kill snakes.....even tho they usually startle me and scare me badly.
OB....WE need to do a beach get together, if I can tear you away from the food long enough......

I guess I dont know pepper ... i've noticed him coming on mostly as fly-bys, but i've never seen him chat much. Spring/summer is really a hard time for me to post ... maybe he's out enjoying the spring days with good booze and wild women.

I would never stick around long enough to kill one. I almost sat on a baby rattler when I was about 10 playing hide and go seek. It was behind an antique stove my parents had on a cool patio when I lived in the San Joaquin Valley Desert. I was scooting in .... first to sit in the crevice between the stove and patio wall ... but then it rattled! I was screaming so loud my mom had to slap me across the face to get me to shut up to find out if I had got bitten or not.
She pulled it out with a hoe and chopped it's head off.
Are you here now.....or kinda gone?

And it really ain't easy to kill a snake with a hoe. Maybe easier on a hardwood floor, but not outside. K tried it, and the darn thing was able to scoot out from under it because she wasn't strong enough. She made it poop, though.

Sea.....Pepper used to be Gator Fan (I think) and changed his user name. He used to post a lot on the new vet's turning thread. He is really a cool guy....as are all the posters on this thread. Sometimes he posts a lot, but usually he is on the run to the bars to watch sporting events or hosting sporting events parties.
Was he here this afternoon? Did I miss Pepper?
