Hubs and I do not talk like that to each other either.....but we have other ways of making each other miserable.
Thus he is still alive.
You know, you do become almost immune to the language when it is used so much in certain shows. The Sopranos was the worst I have seen on tv. But I considered The Sopranos a comedy...and the language was one of the funny things in the show. So overblown. Maybe some people really do talk like that, but I do not know them.

A 9mm is nice. I had a 9mm Largo Spanish 1911, made in about 1920. The Largo round is a bit longer. I have a cheap .40 ACP now, but I really want a .45 Sig Sauer.

I can't image talking like that to a professional.....but I have been shocked by what I have heard from people in public places, paying no heed to who hears them. Rudeness is not a characteristic I have patience with.
They are just too lazy to be creative like hubs and I.

Funnier to me are the ones who are all 'yes ma'am' and 'no ma'am' before surgery but wake up swinging and cussing like sailors
And VG.....I can imagine what it is like in the military....macho men trying to outdo each other. Hubs was in the military, and I imagine he was able to keep up with the most foul mouthed of them. 
But he mellowed when he got out....and the older he gets, the more mellow he is.

They start hitting you with it on your first day of Boot Camp, as soon as you get off the bus. All the yelling and demeaning, I guess trying to get angry degenerates in line. But I was in the Navy, not the Army or Marines, so most of us weren't really looking for a fight, but rather, trying to avoid one. And nearly everyone talks like that. It kinda gets beat into you, and becomes 2nd nature.

Well, I have to get up at 4:30....have to be showered and dressed and on the road by 5:45. Picking up friend at 6, bus leaving at 6:30. Forecast is showing rain all day in Shipshewana. Lots of outdoor activities planned for the afternoon. 8-o Maybe we will just find a bar.

I am sure it becomes habit. Believe me, some of the people I work with have severe 'potty mouth'. But I was always taught it was not lady-like, so I try to watch my mouth. Occasionally I let one slip out loud, but I always feel guilty when I do. Now, don't ask me what I'm muttering under my breath
