Hi Glam, jj, and VG. I'm actually going further east, up into the Smoky Mtns., my home away from home.

Old daddy is very tired, coughing a bit more today, but still in good cheer. He sleeps most of the time now except when someone is there to visit. I am still planning on going home Thursday unless he quickly becomes worse.

Good to hear he is still in good cheer.

No, they lived in/near the Rocky Mountains in Tennessee. She's taking a retreat day to go to the mountains. She tries to do that every time she's up there. I hope she'll elaborate for you.

I got into trouble in the Smokies once. On a company trip, a bunch of us decided to caravan to Asheville, NC. Spent the night in Nashville, and met everyone for breakfast. 4 vehicles involved......anyway, I told them hubs and I were not going to stay on the interstate, we were going to go thru the Smokey Mtn. Nat'l Park. And I said....you all do not have to follow us, so go however you want. Well, they followed us, and we got stuck in traffic at Dollywood, right outside of the park entrance. Crawled for over an hour, then got into the park....the speed limit was 30 m.p.h. the whole way. We did not get to Asheville until after dark....we missed the company cocktail hour and the company dinner. They were all mad at me.

I've been told I'm too honest.

I was given a pair of blue jeans for Christmas years ago. They didn't fit and I didn't want them. I wanted a shirt, so I took them back to Sears. But I didn't have the receipt, so the Clerk was asking all kinds of questions. So I went into all kinds of detail. My girlfriend at the time was with me, and she told me they don't need to know everything you're telling them. But I got the shirt I wanted. As we were leaving the store, that's when she told me "You're too honest!"
