In very good spirits, and with me and a friend there to share lunch with her, she ate very well. Egg salad sandwiches, chips, frozen grapes, and Amish donut holes. LOL....I was up til after midnight making egg salad, but it was worth it to see her enjoying her lunch. It was an enjoyable visit! Thanks for asking.

It was already late today. His ECF Vetarversary was on the 10th.

Late start...just the basic egg salad, chopped eggs, chopped green onions, mustard, mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, paprika. Did not put the eggs on until 9 p.m., then let them cool completely before chopping....I forgot them while I was researching the innokin Cool Fire....turned off the computer to go to bed, turned around, and there they sat....

Stefanie seemed to show improvement in her mental attitude....she was in good spirits. I called her best friend and she met us there for lunch.....I think sis loves eating with people she knows. By not talking, she is pretty lonely there because she cannot make friends.

I can't imagine how frustrating that has to be. Especially if she is anything like you!
She is more outgoing than me....tons of friends. Very vibrant personality...and she still has most of it, in fact, other than the not being able to speak or read/write and the paralysis....she seems to be herself. Memory is still there, and she still loves us, that is evident. And her frustration is heartbreaking to watch...she wants to talk to us so badly. I pray that the massage therapist can help her gain a little movement in her right leg....if we can get her mobile, her life will improve dramatically.
All will take time. Just do what you can to cut the frustration! And, of course, make her feel loved and needed.
And sorry all but I'm dragging.

That we do....she is 65, looks about 50. She looks so out of place in there with all those "old" people.
That is how you stay young looking....surround yourself with older people. Hubs said he felt out of place on our Alaskan cruise without a hearing aid (sorry, VG) and a cane. I fit right in with my limp. Lots of people hobbling around. Holland America ships are not party cruises.
Night, jj. I am sure you are tired from your body trying to fight off the infection. A couple of good sleeping nights should help you. You would not get much sleep here tonight....our weather radio is going off like crazy. Some major storms north of us....and may hit here also.
