I don't know if I could fly a kite. I really don't remember trying. I remember one time when I was a young girl, I wanted mom to go get me a kite. I think my friend across the street had got one or something. So, mom (probably busy cleaning or doing laundry or something) wouldn't go get one for me. I acted ugly (don't remember specifics) and got a thorough set-down for that. Maybe even got grounded - can't remember. Funny how that comes to mind now. I haven't thought about it in decades.
There was (and still is) a huge field across from my grandmother's house that we used to play in. I remember flying kites there.

(They really are more fun to watch than to do). I never could do a yo-yo either.....and I pretty much sucked at jacks too, so the fact that I never got the hang of flying a kite did not make much of an impression on me. Just par for the course.

I'm not great at a Yo-Yo, but I can do a couple or three tricks.

I don't either and that's why I sold the stuff inside cheap and on the condition the buyer took EVERYTHING. Then I hired someone to clean the place.
