And many more to follow!!

Aw, Tink....I am sorry to hear of your predicament.....please one more try. Check out the reviews for Cat Attract litter....lots of people were having your problem, and that solved it. It would be worth a try! It will break your heart to have to do the alternative.

Size 10!! Dale, I am so jealous of you. I was born a size 12. And have just grown from there.

Lots of food cooking....gotta go....everyone have a great day. :)

Morning Dale

Things are OK here. Could be better, could be worse. Hubs is at his mother's, helping her get out of bed. He had to do that yesterday too. Her back is in such bad shape, she is afraid she will fall if she gets out of bed herself. She can, however, get up during the night to a bedside commode :?: I'm not sure why she can't get up and out her bedroom door. One problem is that her walker won't fit through her bedroom to her bed. I dunno…. but hubs is frustrated. I think we are at the point of having to get somebody to stay with her, at least during the nights.

I spent all day cleaning yesterday, mostly the back bedrooms where the cats stay. And had to wash the bedclothes, yet again. Even though we cover the bed with a tarp, I guess one of them sprays/pisses on the bed when DH is asleep and I'm not in the bed. Also had to clean up multiple areas along the baseboards. The culprit has already peed in two places since yesterday. Unfortunately, I am beyond my breaking point. I am going to set up a video camera, if possible, to catch whoever it is in the act. Then I'm afraid I am going to have to euthanize them  I never, ever thought I would be one to do that, but I can't keep living this way. It breaks my heart.

Other than that, peachy-keen around here

Oh, and I gotta work tonight, Mon, and Tue :glare:

Sorry it's come to this, Tink, but believe me, I understand, and you have tolerated it much longer than I would have. When I had that problem, they were young enough to find new homes. I'll have you in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this with the cats and your MIL.

Tink!! Tink!!!

I'm back in my 10's!!! :w00t: Never thought I'd see this day again! :D

I was wondering what "back in my 10's" meant. Gratz, Dearest!!! :thumb:

I will give it a try, Glam. I have been very down about the thoughts of putting him to sleep. It can't hurt to try :)

Tink - I got distracted before I could post. Sorry about your mil. It's so hard getting old. Would one of your boys stay there at night? Night nurse?

Maybe make the cat live outdoors? One of mine is going out.... maybe two.

Dale - congratz! I should go raid my closet for you!

Nap time before party time. I am to be in st. Augustine at 5:30 for family celebration. Will try to slip in when we get home.

No, I wouldn't ask one of my boys to do that. Besides, one lives out of town and the other has a job. And hubs and I are not able to spend nights there, either. I have a crazy work schedule and hubs works 48-50 hrs/wk. And, quite frankly, she would drive us bat-chit crazy  As an example… hubs gets there this morning. The key is not in the shed out back as it usually is. He calls her… "it's on the porch now". AND she has managed to get herself out of bed today. She couldn't have picked up the phone and let hubs know he didn't need to come???? Or let him know the key is in a different place?? I don't mean to sound heartless… she really does need somebody to help her do some things. But it would be better for everybody involved if we hire somebody. She is a sweet lady with a heart of gold…. but she can get on your last nerve, too.

I have thought about fixing up a place for Oliver to stay outside. But he has been strictly indoors for 13 years and would not have the survival skills to stay outside. I don't think he could even withstand the temperature extremes outside. If he got near our dogs, they would probably kill him. I wish it were possible for him to become an outside cat, but I just don't think it is.

I hope you have a great birthday celebration tonight!!

:wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub: I am so hoping this works.

Good afternoon, Beachers....I am getting ready to do some back reading. Company all gone, house picked up, (somewhat) and I finally have some computer time today. The lunch was a big success....son at 3 big bowls of my soup, hubs only ate 2 cause he thought he was getting some more for dinner....but he did not know I am saving the rest to take to my sister. The ham turned out really well....so much more moist than baked in the oven. I put it in the crock pot with some brown sugar and a little frozen orange juice concentrate...probably one of the best hams I have ever made.

I will be back later after done with all my back reading.
