Just finished a tutorial on the computer for a new Pyxis system we are getting. That is a machine that will be in each OR filled with drugs that we need. It took me AN HOUR to go through the stoopid tutorial (which was required :glare:). Also required is a class at 7am on Jan 7th :grr:

Gonna try to get a quick nap. Hope you find your needle, JJ  Hope you have finished sorting your mail, Sun

 I hate any kind of inservice or class. Hell...I hate it anytime the government changes any of their computer sites and I have to learn how to use it. And...and...7am? Screw that! Phffffffffft!

My AnitMalware company's Tech Support seems to have fixed my virus problem!!! I called and he logged into the computer over the Internet. He was familiar with the infection, as lots of people are having trouble with it now. He explained to me why Antivirus programs cannot look for them when running in Windows. It's a "rights" issue with Microsoft. :grr: Certain files have to be "killed" (stopped from running) to be able to find and remove a Rootkit, or in this case, the Virus that was acting like a Rootkit, and Microsoft does not allow that in programs for sale. RogueKiller is free and was the only program he knew of that could actually find it. I had been using been using that one, but there was a particular Windows system file that had to have its permissions changed and be renamed to kill it after RogueKiller ran its 1st scan, then run the 2nd scan and delete the infection, and then rename the file back to original when it was finished. There was no way I could have known that.

I'm still on the laptop right now to write this, as I'm doing some things he said to do to be sure it's gone now. But it is looking very good. :w00t:
