Hey beachmates :D

Here are two pics from the wedding yesterday. I was pretty impressed that my iPad was able to get that close. We were on the 8th floor balcony, quite a way away.
The groom cried… so sweet! I told DH he was crying. DH said "he probably has sand in his eye". Pffft. So when we were walking out onto the beach this morning, DH overheard the groom say "I told myself I wasn't going to cry. But when I saw her I couldn't help it". Daaaaawwwwwww.

ETA: Duh… DH also took some pics with his camera. That is probably where these pics came from

Nice pics, Tink. Looks lie the best man was crying, too. Unless he's taking a picture. :D Handsome couple there. The bride is lovely. :)

Hello, TinkerBabe.

More of the kites. They had it again today. I think it was more successful today :) We figured out that the big 'balloon' type ones are supposed to hover near the ground. They have short lines so can't go very far up.

Too cool! I would love to have been there! :thumb: The red balls are bigger than that red truck.

Beautiful Tink, I was wishing for some pictures of the wedding :)

I suppose if they got caught in a high wind they might lift the holders off the ground

Of course they are playing, you made them a playground!
Evening beach :)
Catching up.
Evening JJ :)

A better pic of the dragon (for Dale ;) )
:p

Bwahahaha! I almost spit my oil out when I saw that crocodile

Nice pics, Tink....looks like it was a nice wedding. I think hubs cried at our wedding too, thinking, "What have I done?" :D

What did you do today?

Mine was too young at the time to realize the import of his decision

I've done NOTHING today :D Just as planned.

I imagine if the big kites when far up they'd get tore up and I bet they are too expensive to let that happen.

True! I imagine they are really expensive!

Actually, the best man was a young man with Down Syndrome. I know this because we saw him at breakfast that morning. Yes, the bride is beautiful and the groom is handsome. Give 'em time

The size of the kites/balloons were amazing. The bright blue manatee was the biggest of all of them! DH and I finally came to the conclusion the red spikey balls were just for the kids to run between and have fun. We were down on the beach today (instead of just watching from the balcony) and the kids were having a blast running between them, trying to avoid getting 'stuck' by the 'spikes'. Of course, we could be wrong  But I doubt it

I am in and out....I promised hubs I would watch the game.....he and son are sitting right behind the Packers bench area....1st row seats on the 20 yard line, so the camera pans that area a lot. They will be the only ones in that area in Bears' garb......and he is going to wave to me. They are there because they got the tickets from a Packer's fan who was not able to make it. (If I miss him....it will be ok, I see him every day. :D)

So you have the laptop with you as you sit and watch the game?

Why do I doubt this. :sneaky:
