I really don't believe juice has anything to do with it because the cracks are starting at the base and working their way up. I just put a nice coat of gorilla glue on all of mine from the base up to the .4ml mark.

Gorilla glue doesn't seem to be hurting it?

A week in on mine and my cracks are getting more severe. One has not developed that you can feel on the outside and it looks like it goes all the way through. The hairline fractures are multiplying as well. I have just drained it and I think I am taking it out of commission at this point. This is very very disappointing as this carto was not abused at all.

I could have written this exact post down to the punctuation. I don't think I will be gambling on any more stardusts until a version comes out that doesn't have these issues. And I'll wait until others have gotten theirs and review them. This probably means that I'll miss out on them since they sell out so fast lol!

What kind of issues did the first version have that caused them to revamp it?

I believe, correct me if I am wrong, the first batch just had a different manufacture date. They were a smaller lot that was rushed out after the Chinese New Year holiday. I don't believe there was any revamping done. Something was just a little different in the manufacturing that caused this problem if it is only happening to the second batch. IMHO

The first lot of Stardusts arrived before Chinese new year. The second lot came after. I believe the problem came from either the tubes being or the gnarled base was made too large which is causing the cracks that many people are experiencing.

I do hope these issues were resolved for the next batch arriving this week.

I think the manufacturers need to stop using this clear plastic and switch to the newer flex type plastic like on the vision extreme. It seems almost every tank they come out with using the clear ends up with some type of cracking.
I agree. No issue with my juice but my wife has had two of these crack now and the crack is long enough to cause leaking. Her juice is 70% peppermint / 10% black pepper / 10% menthol / 10% tobacco.

Thanks Antfuzz. Sorry what I wrote was confusing.

When I said

I was talking about the second batch.

That's what I get for typing before I have had enough coffee.

I also hope the issue is trying to be resolved with the LR's that are suppose to be in this week. Is there any way to know Bad?

I don't think the juice is causing the crack . on one of mine was cracked out of the package unused so I put a drop of gorilla super glue over the crack it hasent cracked any farther. Now the pic I posted on page 2 shows it turned almost so cloudy that you couldn't see the juice in side so I figured it was toast and I tryed to clean with water it didn't help so I used some listeren zero didn't have any crest pro health and couldn't get it apart, so I filled it and its not as clear as it was new its still foggy but much clearer if that's a word lol and still vaping ok

I had one develop cracks where it connects to the base. Started leaking, has only had flux dew grape in it I may have put stress on it when in pocket. Not sure though.

Has never been taken apart.

dew uses acidic natural flavors, thats what it looks like
its possible there was a small fracture and the juice speeded it along.

i have tested dew and triple orange on new ones that looked pretty clean, they did not develop cracks
on one i abused a little and had a small hairline fracture, on that it opened it up even furhter after about a few hours.

also to keep its shape and form its hard to use other types pf plastic to avoid things like this, but in the future they are looking at seeing what can be done.

In my opinion the reason for cracking are the dimensions of either the tubing or the gnarled base being incorrect. Those people who received Stardust from the first shipment have not been experiencing this type of cracking to my knowledge, but of course I could be wrong. It's evident since the first shipment you were able to pull them apart and the second shipment needed to be pressed off.

i still dont have a stardust yet but i wanted to add that i have used triple orange (old and new mix both rock yummm) in original cracky tube visions with no problems BUT
i filled one with the new cola (orignal tube vision regular) and in less than 5 min it just fell apart like ce2 tubes did in the old youtube videos. no problems with the new vision plastic but i would be scared to put it in a stone tank or stardust...
