I just received my order on Friday. I'm kicking myself for not getting them before I left on my Charleston trip. I had to deal with constant refilling of the reg. 510s in my room. And on the drive down, I rotated between dripping on my passthru 401 and the 510 battery operated.

I've been using the cartomizer nonstop on my 510 passthru, wish I could get it to work in my car, but that's another story. I'm stockpiling the charges on my 510 batteries and going to be abusing them at work tomorrow.

I had bought one of those blunt injectors from Sean and just used it once, than tried the condom method mouth end. It works great.

Here's a tip for any of you that are klutzes like me. If you have any medicine dosage cups, place it in there. This way if you spill it, or overfill, you won't have a mess to clean up, and you can save it, or use for dripping, if you really mess up.

I haven't had much luck with cartos yet?

I got some KR8 cartos prefilled with some not so great tasting PG stuff. I didn't get these from litecig. Vapor production was next to nothing. I got some throat hit. The biggest pro was how warm the vapor is. Otherwise its not nearly as good of an experience as with the 3 piece models.

But... I still don't know how to drive these things?

Came time to refill after I'd gotten rid of enough of the PG stuff and I just don't get how much liquid to add really. I dripped some on top the first time... a kind of random number of drops. This was a much tastier VG liquid. Still didn't produce great vapor, but better. After that was getting drier (i still don't know how to tell very well when the carto is getting low really), I used a syringe and refilled from the bottom up until the filler was brimming with liquid. That was a total mistake. Completely flooded monsoon of a mess. I popped the top off and blew most of what I just put in back out. Then I vaped that for a while.

I'm just stumbling around in the dark with cartos compared to three piece carts. The extra warmth of the vapor is a nice thing, but otherwise, i'm clueless.

Is the 510 cartomizer all metal? I want to get away from using plastic carts and I think this would be a great way. Are the internals similar to a 3 piece unit? Does it use the same polyfil as a standard cart? If so, is it replaceable?

Yes, the cartomizer is all metal. The internals of the cartomizer are similar but it's designed differently, they are supposed to be disposable. The cartomizers come with filler material already in them, all you have to do is fill them and vape. You should be able to refil them multiple times.

I got my cartos from litecigUSA today and they are pretty damn awesome. I have been using this particular one for 4 hours and 30 minutes on and off. It's still going strong. So far I am very impressed and I will never buy a regular atomizer/cartridge ever again. These 510 cartos are really wonderful in my opinion, highly suggested.

Does anyone know if after you fill them up, will they last just as long as when they were pre-filled?

I received my order on Friday, The first one was going strong and is still working as of tonight, but doesn't put out as much as day 1. That's after beating the crap out of it too. I figure if they last a week, its still money saved. I'll be ordering more when I run out of juice, that's for sure. My regular 510 can't compete with it.

Scorched they will last just fine. when you first open a new blank 510 atty you can fill it with 30 drops. i do it this way. i add 10 drops then use the Taryn spin then add another 10 drops then spin again then add another 10 and spin again. now your set. after you vape it awhile you can top off about 8 - 12 drops. always get in the habit of doing this. do not wait til its empty. if you wait til its empty they will burn much faster and then they wont last long. i usually after every 5 fills i rinse them out under hot water and blow it out. you have to blow it out a lot til no water come sout then let it sit overnite then in the morn you can fill again and start process over again. Now sometimes after its been used for awhile you wont be able to put in 30 drops but maybe 27 drops. it ranges. but most times you should be able to get the 30 drops in. the cartos are great. enjoy
