Love the PT3 Mini, what larger tank should I try (Aero, PT3, Other)?

Like the title says, I'm loving the PT3 Mini. I've been using the same coil for over a month, of what I would think would be a decent amount of use. I changed it out yesterday, for no apparent reason as the new one performs the same, so I'll be saving the "old" one for a rainy day. I clean it out well and dry burn between flavors. Only "problem" if it is one, is that I'm liking my current favorite at higher wattages, so the juice goes much faster. Looking for something with a bigger capacity, but similar performance. I was leaning towards the Aero or standard PT3 since they all use the same coils.

I can get the nautilus, Aero, PT3, for $40 or less locally, so not looking to spend any more than the price of the Nautilus locally. I am not sure of the size of the Nautilus, seems like it would be awfully huge on a MVP.

I have a PT3 Mini that I like as well. I got some Evod Glass tanks last week and have been enjoying them quite a bit. They use the same coils but have a metal sheath to protect the glass (my PT3 Mini had to stay at home for safety reasons). The drip tip is removable and is similar (if not the same) as the PT2 Mini. That said, I also just pulled the trigger on an Aerotank (original, not the mini or mega) since I've been eyeing those for a several weeks.

I looked at the MagnaVape Pro Killer--looks interesting. Maybe someday...

If you like the look of the Mini Protank 3 as well as usage, I'd suggest the regular Aerotank. It looks just like the big brother of the Mini Protank 3 but holds a lot more liquid, and uses the same dual coils.

I just got a PT 3 the other day. I am going back soon for an Aerotank I think, just so I'll have all three to compare. I think I'm also going to be getting a Nautilus as well.

May also want to check out the Aerotank Mega, some people rate it similar quality to the Nautilus but its advantage is the coils are interchangeable with the regular Aerotank and Protank 3.

That's good to know! I've mostly been wanting to stick with Kanger because I haven't had any problems with them, yet, and the coils are all the same. I wasn't keen on the idea of having to keep up with who knows how many different parts lol.

I hear you. Although, be warned, some Kanger coils are not interchangeable with others. I started with MT3S's and bought a boatload of coils for them. Then I ran afoul of my first tank-cracker and decided to get a PT3 Mini while I was ordering a new battery. To my delight, the T3S/MT3S coils easily fit the PT3 Mini. Yay! I then decided to get some Evod Glass tanks to replace the MT3S because I liked having a metal sheath to protect the glass from accidents. Turns out, that while the Evod Glass tanks use the same dual coil as the PT3 Mini, they cannot accept the MT3S coils. I have learned, however, that I might be able to buy PT2 Mini bases for the Evod Glass's and use plain single-coil Evod heads. So, at this point, I'm trying to decide whether or not to just standardize on the Kanger dual coils (more pricey and I don't know how well they may be re-wicked) or bite the bullet and order the bases and different single coil heads. I figure I'll wait and see what happens when I finally kill a dual coil...

Since I'm running about 5 different tanks, I haven't worn out any of my dual coils yet. Like you, I wash them between refills. When one dies, though, I'll open it up and see what would be required to re-wick them. I only started re-wicking my single coils and found it quite easy to do. It's like breathing new life into them, so considering that I have a bunch of them, I'll probably be able to make them last quite some time. Hopefully I'll be able to do the same with the dual coils.
