I don't own won, but the GF does, and its got a mean buzz/whistle going on.
Which Velocity is it? If it isn't an authentic or Tobeco then I can see where it might have issues.

Also, what are all these 2 post drippers you speak of. I know of about 4 (Petri [has issues], Stumpy, Hobo V3.1, Holmes [leaks]). There is no other rda that traps the wires the way the Velocity does, which makes it great for nickel.

He was referring to my Arctic tank system. Not the RDA

I have the Hobo V3 and it was okay, but used it for a couple days then went back to the Velocity. Purchased a Perti a couple months ago, that was a disaster, but even if it would have been perfect that RDA is not built to last. Have the Holmes and it leaks through the 510. None of those have the potential airflow the Velocity can offer, or the amount of adjustment options.

I get it if it isn't your thing, but the hype around it is very much not a gimmick.

Hear Hear brother I agree I have all 3 and always go back to my velocity.
But if you haven't tried a SMOK TFV4 I would greatly suggest it to you.
I'm not to much of a tank guy but this thing is so close to a dripper.
And the coils they offer are unreal.
    Go check it out.
A lot of great features too.

The Velocity we have is garbage. Authentic, straight from Avid. Wobbly top cap, the entire design of the top cap, underwhelming juice well...Just doesn't fir the bill for me, or quite a few others from other forums I have seen. Maybe its "sick as ***s" to some, but a lot of people are beginning to see through the hype.

I never asked you what you like in RDA's ?
Share your good experiences with the drippers you like.
Thats what this forum is all about.
Not just putting down what you don't like.
p.s. I own both the original and a clone tobbeco and both have very tight caps.
Maybe you needed to change your o-rings or maybe you just got ones with undersized o-rings
it does happen from time to time.

I'm not meaning to come across that way, my apologies to all.

I like simplicity, and deep juice wells. Immediately, the Mutation X V3/4 is my go to, if I drip. And outside of that line, I really like my Marquis. But I hardly ever drip anymore. With the markets being flooded with sub-ohm tanks, a few good ones have surfaced and I have been using them exclusively.

Hmmm. you said earlier there were plenty of 2 post attys which also offer more airflow. In fact, there are none that offer more airflow. The Velocity has 2-8x2mm slots and 6-2mm holes, there aren't many RDA's of any post design that offer that much airflow.

Now you say a 6.5mm deep juice well is "underwhelming"? What exactly is your idea of a deep juice well?
