I am becoming a big fan of Halo's liquid such as Malibu and Tiki. Gonna try some new flavors if they offer a Labor Day sale like they did last year. I am curious about Captain Jack and Prime. Anyone try those??

I'm predicting a sale, as they usually have them around the holidays. I asked JB in Halo's sub forum but I guess he wants to keep it a secret because I haven't heard back from him, or he's hunkered down due to Irene. Remember they have a 10% coupon for ECF users, ECFTEN
I tried it and reviewed it a while back.(here is the review) Not the biggest fan but others that I respect really like it. I like Halos other flavors. Just Prime was fail to me.
Gotta strongly disagree with you AaronY, I've never done a review so all I'm gonna say is this stuff is amazing. Maybe you should have let it sit for a day or 2 as some people say that it needs to steep a little bit. Or, maybe you didn't give it a long enough sampling, what size bottle did you buy? I'm glad to see that Halo upped their sample size bottle to 7ml from 5ml, because sometimes 5ml isn't enough liquid to make a legitimate decision with. I've seen some people rip a juice apart only to post again a week later saying that they now love it. Anyway, taste is subjective so here's another perspective on Prime 15 from another reviewer:
Prime 15 - BRAVO Johnny!
I just received my Prime 15 and have been using it since it arrived yesterday. This definitely deserves the BRAVO! This tobacco flavor is what I have been searching for in my almost 2 years of vaping. This is without a doubt the most finished, perfected, and satisfying tobacco vape I have had to date. I am NOT exaggerating.
I'm using this on a 3.0 ohm 510 atomizer on a Darwin set at 8.5 or 9 watts. The juice is completely clear and loves my atomizer. The taste is a wonderful tobacco. I'm only getting the tobacco flavor, no nutty flavor or other underlying flavor. It is immediately identified as a wonderful satisfying tobacco. It took me by an unexpected but wonderful surprise. It felt and tasted like I just took a draw off a really good cigarette, minus the other experiences of inhaling something that is lit and burning. The throat hit and massive vapor are the best I've had. I rate this at a level of "standing ovation". With Prime 15 and Tribeca, I have all I need.

Halo's base is kind of weird for me.. At first they taste as like an unintentionally inhaled aerosol.. that isn't pleasant. But it goes away after the juices sit for a couple weeks or a month. I need to reevaluate my sampler soon.
So far, Prime 15 & Captain Jack are my favorite juices from Halo. Prime feels more like a cigarette to me and the flavor is pleasant, but not so much of a tobacco taste (that's just me.. others taste tobacco). Captain Jack is liquid bliss.. An exotic dreamy vape.
really want to try Smooth 8.
Halo Truepure has been my main vape for almost a year now. Halo Malibu is my # 2. I have tried dozens upon dozens of flavors from various dozens of vendors. While taste is completely objective, I have never found anything that has come close to my all day. Halo has the cleanest liquids I have ever vaped.
just received my G6 today.
At first, I tried the Malibu. I couldn't feel any menthol at all. Then switch to torque 56. They taste almost the same to me. With the Malibu, I felt a slight hint of coconut flavor.
8-10 hours later, I tried the Malibu again. This time, I can feel a slight menthol taste. Wonder why. Is this something to do with my taste bud?
Note that I have not smoke any real cigarette since vaping.

Even though that all of the Halo G6 has this vanilla-ish/ chocolaty-ish flavor to me(which I'm not fond of), Captain Jack has this strong unique flavoring that is hard to describe when you vape out. I like it. Throat hit is abundant.
Note that I use 24mg.
I think I need to lower the nicotine value to 12mg next time.

I have never disliked a Halo liquid...
Smooth 8 was probably the toughest for me to love... but I am anxious to try it again... It was over a year ago and now I am into liquids with menthol and throat hit... (smooth 8 isn't menthol, but TH is very high).
Big fan of the Menthol Ice, Tiki and Malibu...
Initially, Prime was one of the best juices I ever tried... I got it the week it came out... I was on cloud 9 for a week or so... then I just inexplicably lost my fascination with it... good juice... but plenty of other Halos to vape...

Yeah, it's likely your taste buds... I suspect the halo base is coming through really strong for you... Keep trying them for a week or so... You still may not like them... but be aware that flavor has a tendency to change frequently and without notice ;-)
LastTango I think it really makes a difference to let it sit a while if you get a really fresh bottle direct from Halo.
I had a friend try my carto filled with Smooth 8 (He'd bought it a while back and said he didn't like it). He asked what the liquid was and then couldn't believe how good the S8 was and that it was even the same liquid. When I first got it, I didn't like it either. Revisited the atomizer that had Smooth 8 in it about 2 weeks later and I couldn't vape enough of it. Been my all day vape choice for over a year now. The throat hit is really good.
My Prime 15 has been steeping a while and I think the flavor improved... I love it's strong smoky background. Good stuff and a nice change from S8.

Prime 15 is my all day vape, IMO excellent, others, IMO unvapable .... (these are the ones i tried and hated: Bella Valente ,Torque 56, Captain Jack, Freedom Juice)
I am going to have to give some Halo Juice a try. I keep seeing that Malibu is a really good juice so being a bartender i might have to try that one first. When it comes to alcohol flavors i am very picky so we will see just how this stacks up to Malibu
What is Smooth 8 like? I'm contemplating bypassing the sampler in favor of the 30ml due to the sale. But descriptions would be very helpful. thanks.

Pros:
1st Vapor-Puts out tons of Vapor I believe that it is a PG Vg Mix.
2nd Taste Strong Ginger mellowed out with Vanilla
3rd Excellent throat hit and lung hit, strong enough you know it's there but not so strong it makes you cough or burns the lungs.
4th No nasty aftertaste.
Packaging-First child proof Cap I've encountered that an adult can open easily
Consistency-Seems to be perfect a little less viscous than the Cheap Chinese Liquids.
Cons:
This is my favorite vape ever. I will add a caution maybe Five.
First- If you don't like Ginger don't even think about this product
Second You may need to vape it for a few days to get used to it. The more you vape it the better it gets. Don't discount it until you've vaped it for at least 3 days.
Third After chain vaping it in a closed room I was told that I smelled like vanilla.
Fourth: It's so good I find myself chain vaping it.
Fifth: This is the first liquid that I just don't find myself tiring of. Sigh I wish it was less expensive
I've been through more than 20 different liquids and this is my favorite all time vape.Leaves Dekang and Ecopure in the dust.

I loved Malibu at first. I went through a few 30ml bottles...........then someone sent me some of Goodejuice's Maui Menthol.......WOW!!! Now, where as Malibu from Halo seems to me to be extremely light on the menthol side, Maui was a kick you in the face menthol!
I'll choose Maui from Goodejuice over Malibu from Halo anyday.............due to taste & price.

Yep, I got in on that sale yesterday fumama. I love the prime15. That and Tribeca are my all time favs. I have done without analogs for almost 3 months thanks to tribeca. Until I stumbled onto Halo, I couldn't lay the stinksticks down. Needless to say I owe a lot to JB.
