Its been what 4 days now and I am rocking my Reo. Its really a sweet device that delivers great vapor & hits, great flavor, and it looks great too. What else can one want? I found out I don't really need that much variability in voltage as the flavor tends to shine in the lower range (for me). The Reo was also very easy to adapt to. Its easy to use right out of the box. Squonking is very simple and it works amazingly well. I swapped bottles last night and I thought it might be problematic mixing juices and all. What I found is that a little of the original flavor stays inside the tube and so for a short while I continued to vape that flavor but after a bit the new flavor kicked in and that was that! No issue there. I just wonder how often I have to apply that naoloxone stuff to the firing pin.

Some people will totally clean their metal REO's every week. Some wait a couple weeks. Some do it once in awhile! After a cleaning it is good to put on some Noalox. If you don't clean often then you might want to clean the firing pin with some alcohol and reapply Noalox once every week.
With the metal REO's you can remove the bottle, atty or cartos, and battery and run warm water all through it. Does not matter if you get water in the part covered by the delrin insert. You can get the switch button clean as well. Just let it dry all the way before you vape again. You can use a air compressor or hair dryer to speed it up.

 YAY!

The noalox is not an everyday thing. Most folks just re-apply when they do their cleaning maintanence. For some that is once a week, for others its once every couple of months. There are even those who don't use it. It all depends on your vaping style and how quickly your mod collects grime.

You'll want to noalox the firing pin each time after you clean the mod, or (if you're like me, who never cleans the mod) if you start to notice a degradation of the quality of the vape and can't pin the problem down to the atty or the battery. Noalox helps prevent oxidation and increase conductivity (it's full of tiny zinc particles that carry the current).

Glad to hear you're digging on the Grand. It has its' stellar reputation for a reason!

OH, No! Cleaning! I hadn't even thought about that. I'd be afraid I couldn't get the tube and the bottle back in place. I hope my Reo is superReo and doesn't get gunked up so I don't have to clean it.

You don't pull the tube off! Just unscrew the bottle like you do for filling and leave it off. You can take a syringe and squirt some water up through the tube. Just hold your REO over the sink upside down. Easy peazy!:D

When the catch cup or tube gets gunked up on my REO, I just remove the bottle, battery and carto, then pour some vodka in the catch cup. Let it sit for a few minutes, until it drains out the tube, use a folded paper towel or q-tip to clean around the catch cup, dry it, replace the bottle, battery and carto, and presto, like new again!

Hi Liz :D

I usually put a dab of noalox on the button of the battery -- it just helps carry the connection between the pin and the battery :thumb:

One of the things I most love about my REOs is that they are soooooooooooooooooooooo low maintenance! Some people carry them around while working and depending on their environments some grit might get on to the surface of the 510 connection... no biggy... a cotton swab dipped in some alcohol, swipe around the well, and viola! DONE! :D

For the body, just wipe down with a bit of dishwashing liquid and that's it

So glad you're enjoying your REO -- SET IT AND FORGET IT

Great reminder! That's what I have to get, Nolax.

I got mine at Home Depot:

This is exactly what I do each time I change flavors. If you don't have vodka, then hot water will work just as good.

thats what i got enough to last 100 vapers with 3 devices each! I've had my Grande and for 6 months and applied it twice.

LOL Yeah, should've bought the small bottle too. Haven't even used it once yet but, I'm sure it'll be put to use one of these days. Funny thing is that it's still in the trunk of my car......
