Loving my reo

Loving it but a couple days ago I built a .41 ohm coil and was too lazy to rebuild and it has softened the spring and I think my button is melting because when I press down its sticky is that what happens?
I rebuilt the coil and it meters at .61 now

Get a new spring! If it hard shorts the spring won't stop it properly! Maybe I'm shouting fire for no reason but a weakened spring is a non functioning spring!

What about the issue with the button it seems sticky now not springy

If it's sticky it could be from juice, but from what you had wrote previously it might have melted a bit... Rob sells rebuild kits if that's a case... I'm sure some sub ohm reonauts will chime in soon...

I'd clean the switch for sure. Mine got sticky today and it turns out there was juice all over it I didn't see. But the spring should probably be replaced asap.

Yes a .4 ohm coil probably melted the button, people have even had problems at .6 ohms. If you have the skills and know all about batteries and such you can do.

Or better yet stay above .7 ohms until the kit sub ohm upgrades kits come out, in a month or two.

Remove the bottle, the battery, and the atty and give it a bath under the hot water faucet. Scrub it with a toothbrush, blow it out to dry it, file the firing pin, and Noalox it. REPLACE the spring.....once it's used it's no longer effective as a safety feature.

You bought a Spring from ReoMods.com? You cannot use any old spring. The Reo spring is a fuse that will collapse if shorted to drop the battery away from the contact and stop the short.

If the button is deformed you can clean the button up with a razor knife or some sand paper . In most cases you dont need a new button .
