Hi All!
I have learned sooo much on this site. I am new to vaping (less than a month). I had my first analog today since started with my Blu (shipment for more goodies due in tomorrow -- won't make it). It (the analog) tasted awful! Nonetheless, I'll stretch my last cartomizer as far as I can. I was truly surprised that I didn't like the analog taste. I've thought of having analogs since I began using the ecig, but thought I was just showing amazing strength and restraint and control (and every good thing)... Nope, turns out the memory was better than the reality.
My route to ecigs...
Stopped analogs cold last August. Few weeks ago, was on a strenuous road trip (+1500 miles in 2.5 days) and bought a pack of cigs to make it home. Next morning, I got out of bed looking more forward to getting out of bed than I had since quitting smoking. Yes, I used anti depressants after quitting, but it seems they didn't work well enough. So I explained to family (including the doctor) that I'm sorry, but I'd rather be excited about my day with a cigarette in my hand than not being excited about my day at all. I had this whole "quality of life" speech ready, but the doc says, "Whatever it takes." After all those years of his begging me to quit. Geesh!
All the guilt! Smoked analogs for two and half decades! The whole situation (being a slave to an addiction in an industry I despise), as I'm sure most/all of you know, is sooo frustrating, infuriating, etc. Then, I remembered the research my son had done last year about ecigs. At the time he proposed the idea, I wasn't interested in quitting analogs. After being off cigs for a few months, I thought it might work now. I ordered my Blu kit that day, and...
I love vaping! My family has been terrific and supportive. They know me, and are entertained by my headfirst dive into researching everything about this new endeavor. My samples from Johnson Creek arrived today (smell incredible!). My 901 won't be in until Saturday -- really looking forward to it, too. Nonetheless, the USPS assured me my Blu carts will be in tomorrow's mail to hold me over.
All of this is so fascinating, and I've already thought of many people I plan to share the whole experience/alternative with.
Thanks to all of you for the compendium of information you've made available!
