Low flavor

hi,
I recently started using the delta 2 rba and the coil came with it was good but when I built my own coil (nickel, 10 wraps, 450-500F) I've been getting big clouds but very little flavor. Any suggestions on increasing flavor?

Wicking is a big part of it.. What ohm is your coil coming out to? And what gauge wire? I would make sure that the wick is saturated and of the proper density. You want it snug but not forcefully tight, and not loose enough to slip right through.

It's 26ga and it was putting out 0.8 Ohms. I just tried rewicking it looser and it do seem a little better and is now 1.0 Ohms. Still a little lite on flavor.

What wire was the original coil made from and have you tried varying the temperature range greater than 50 degrees? It could just be you haven't found the sweet spot for the juice and your setup.

Wicking it changed the ohms? I would try tightening down the screws some more they might have come loose from the heat. I cut my cotton about a mm above the base of the rba, and take the screw driver and make and indent in the cotton so that the juice channel is visible.

kanthal I'm assuming just from googling what comes with the rba. I've tried everywhere from 300-550. I'm thinking maybe a wicking problem?

Could very well be wicking but like @Ou2mame has kinda pointed out your resistance shouldn't really change when you've wicked it. Have you built your coil with spaces in between the wraps?

There is space but they're tight. Not even a mm. Try wider?

There is space but not much. Wraps are pretty tight.
