Low ohm single coil builds?

New here but i'm a semi experienced vapologist. My question is, is there any way to have a low ohm build, on a genesis with ss mesh, with only one wick and coil. My first thought was to get a lower gauge wire but i currently only have 28, 30, and 32 in hand. It may not be possible but i just thought i would ask.

I had an AGA-T with stainless mesh 1.0 ohm coil with 4/3 or 5/4 wraps with 32 gauge kanthal. How low are you trying to go. 28 gauge should be the way to go. I also have an EVIC so i can test my coils for resistance and re-wrap if they are too high.

With my multimeter i'm lookin at .8 ohms but i would like to be at .6 ohms. I tried thinner wicks but then it affects my wicking action and then i run into that issue lol. I'm currently using 28 gauge kanthal.

You could use less wraps, but then you probably would impair the vaporizing of the liquid due to less coil to wick contact. I am not into mechanicals yet so I do not run anything that low.

Yeah that's what i was thinking about too. If you have less coil to mesh surface coverage there will be less vapor. Looks like i'm going to have to take a drill to my top caps. Thanks Funky

28 gauge 1-2 wrap usually gets me at about .3-.4 ohms.

You could use a twisted coil and get more wraps.

if using 32 awg, i twisted them to 3/4 wraps to get low ohm.. and with 30awg, i got 1.0 ohm with 3/4 coils..

28AWG, 3 wraps depending on the diameter of the wick (Z atty has a tiny wick - some have massive wicks in comparison).
Will be about .6 ohms or so - and will vape your head off - note though that with that amount of power, eve 28AWG will hotspot if you don't set it up right. Trust me - you will know if it is right - the CLOUD of vapor. I really can't imagine anyone needing more than this from a single coil - the vapor is....crazy.
