Just wanted to give feedback to you chuck's

I bought a few low resistence atty's from nhaler
vaping with that on my chuck at 3.7 is great
Higly Recommend It!!

I also bought their dripper's for $8/pop
i don't know how they compare to other's since they're the first open ended cartridge I've bought...but i don't like it...the juice doesn't drop to the bottom easily and I pull juice from the sides straight into my mouth...bleh...

They are shaped nice and work well if you pull the dripper and drip right into the atty...sort of defeating the purpose i guess....

Just wanted to give heads up!!

I just tried the low res atty and I don't know if it's just me, but is anyone else getting a burnt taste? I know it's supposed to simulate HV vaping, but I'm not getting a good flavor, either. And I did cut my drag time down. I have 2 of them and both are like that. Maybe it is just me?

But I love Drew's drip tips!

Nope. It's not just you. I find it harsh when using a 18650 battery. But, I find it great when using a 14500. So, it doesn't get used in my Chuck. I have heard that after the battery (18650) is used for a while, it works well due to the voltage dropping off a bit. Too much of a pain for me.

I use a 18650 battery in my chuck with these LR attys and they are perfect. Keep your atty wetter when using. Love the drip tips too.
The attys lose some taste for me but vapor and TH very good..
Been using them for 2 weeks now and I do like them.

nobody has a problem getting the juice in the drip tip?

what am i doing wrong...

the drop almost sits on the top of the tip and slowly drips down...but all the while the inside walls stay wet and when i pull i get a mouthful of juice...??

as far as the burnt taste....it is hotter than a regular atty...but i think its much better than 6v!!

Yeah, I second the shaking thing. I drip a couple drops and just shake it side to side kinda. It also helps if you don't take a drag immediately after dripping.

And I am keeping the atty wet at all times. It tastes the same on a little Chuck as the big Chuck. I do like the throat hit when it first hits, but then I get the burnt taste and the diminished flavor and it is just kinda ruined. Wonder if it would work on a laser? I'll have to try it out.

doots, do you take a shorter drag on them as opposed to regular attys?

yes, shorter drags for sure. If you do more it will get too hot and taste burnt. I usually drip 3 or 4 drops into the drip tip. Any more and I find that it floods are comes out of the bottom.

I was thrilled with my LR atties at first. But yesterday (day two), I started having trouble with the first one. It had a really bad burnt taste, like the atty was dry even though it wasn't. I switched to the other one today. Six hours later, it's dead, producing no heat at all. So after three days, one is dead and one is currently unusable. :-(

Good to know. I was thinking about trying the tips from Nhaler but I'd be better off ordering a shorty from Super T knowing this.

Which of the super t tips gets less hot, the stainless or the aluminum?

Gonna try carts with 6v and for on the run, had to top off while in the car the other day, needless to say I went to work with a juice stain on my slacks.
Sitting on my bum, I'd like to try direct dripping. Does super T make a flat tip direct drip top? I really like the flat tip 510's, the round ones feel funny for some reason (which will make the cartomizer adaptation interesting or annoying)

I'm confused about these low resistance (LR) atomizers.

Aren't they just the normal 510 atomizers that have been around forever?
I am thinking they call them LR to distinguish from HR ones.

I mean, the normal 510 atomizers are about the lowest resistance ones out there.
I can't imagine them making special ones that are even lower.

It's my understanding that these run at 1.5ohm. At 3.7V that would give ~9W which is pretty close to a 5V experience. I'm not sure how he got the resistance lower or how long of a lifespan it will get (haven't cracked this one open yet, heh).

@Amy: it still depends on the type of aluminum/steel used, but in general S.S. will not conduct heat as well as alum.

Wow, and thanks for the information!

Sure thing. I'm headed home in a couple hours and will verify it.

edit: Just checked.

A standard 510 atty came out at 2.6Ω, whereas the LR atty was 1.7Ω. At 3.7V that is ~8W with the new LR atty (5.25W with standard atty). That's a pretty significant difference in power output.

And for reference, at 6V with this atty, you are getting a whopping 21W of power. Not recommended, lol.

The LR attys are not regular 510s. They are lower resistance than reg attys.
