I have been having some insomnia, which yes could be related to other things not necessarily my vaping a bunch at night, but I am vaping a bunch, and was wondering if all that nighttime nicotine was assisting the problem. Anyone here cut down their nic levels at night? Would love to hear your story. Want to get 2 new bottles this week from a fav vendor and wondering if I should get one of them in a lower level, like 6mg or something, for a nighttime vape. I usually use 18 or even sometimes 24 mg.

Also, how much will the taste vary on a liquid if you usually have it at 18 or 24 but you get it at 6 mg?

Nic is supposed to have its own flavor, but cutting down shouldn't change the juice too much. I haven't noticed much difference in flavor between 18, 12 and 6 mg. Nic is a stimulant, so it probably won't help your insomnia. I hear folks vape the strongest stuff in the mornings to get a "jump" on the nic for the day. Obviously, you don't want coffee or tea at night. :)

When first getting off the analog habit, I was using 24mg/ml exclusively and found that I was not interested in going to bed as usual. It wasn't that I couldn't sleep but rather I was so wired I kept coming up with stuff to do or watch until about 3am. After a couple weeks of 3-4 hour sleep intervals, I decided to step down to 18mg/ml after dinner and by Midnight I was ready for bed. These days it's 18mg/ml during the day and 12mg/ml at night. I no longer bounce off the walls and sleep is much more sound. Brew
