Just got my Em306's so far performing very well comparable to my first 306's if anything i have noticed so far, the draw is lighter, but i still think that its not fully broke in yet, also the bridge seems to be a little higher, and thicker than the CoV ones. Got some really nasty juice from EM that kinda ruined my first experience with them in that department.

Yep, that's right :)

Didn't look right to me so I made some changes

FIxed... I modded it and it is perfect now..:)

Basically I chopped about the first 1/4 inch off the beige peice I removed (removing the baffled part so it is straight through) then I heated the Derlin 306 drip tip end till it was flexable and used the end of a sharpie to flange it, then pushed it over the beige piece and

Got my 306LRs from EM friday. Took a bit of time to break in but now I must say I'm very pleased!
Installed on my Mako Maksi using an IMR 14650 3.7v this atty performs very well. Overall significantly better than 510LRs, especially in the flavor department. 1 Batt lasts me a full day of happy vaping and I have a total of 4 IMR 14650s 950mah :)

I also have some original Joye 306LRs and a $1.50 drip tip coming from HC for comparison :2cool:
These should be arriving this week.

Do 510 carts or Drip tips fit the 306 atty ?

Just got my 306 drip tip from liquidXpress. Plus I got the 5 pack of 306 LR attys for 30 bucks.

Question though, the OP mention 1.8 ohm, the ones I ordered "genuine Joye LR 306's say 1.5 ohm.
Is their more than one kind?
Is 1.8 ohm maybe a standard 306 and 1.5 ohm is the LR ??

Hope I like them cause 5 of them will be in my mailbox Wed.

after reading this I really want to try a SR 306 atty. (I'm not a big fan of LRs still)
I've been a 510 guy for almost a year now.
tha joye standard resistance 306 is good too....I got mine from RMV...

there's several different kinds....
the original joye standard resistance is 2.5Ω
then the cisco ones came out at 1.5Ω
and as with anything hugely sucessfull or popular...soon copies followed...depending on manufacturer what's considered LR is subjective...
but the cisco ones are made to tighter QC specs....
all atties though have a +/- .3Ω tolerance though

Working like a charm

I just used a Dremel and chopped my cone down.

If it's just a matter of wanting to use the cone on the ego you can also use the 510-510 extender that's meant for the mega batt adapter for the wall charger ;)

I tried doing that. The problem is that it defeats the purpose of the cone to me because it makes it so that the air holes are actually outside the cone. I like the air holes to be down inside the cone so that it actually pre heats the vapor and tightens the draw a bit. Just my opinion though.

Well I can't figure out if I am doing somethign wrong or if this is the norm for all LR attys..

510 LR atty lasted 8 days.. I did clean this one by blowing it out every day or 2.

306 LR atty lasted 7 days... Same cleaning proceedure.. Never burned dry..

I got another 306 LR atty that is on day 9 so far with no issue.. Is it just the nature of the beast some blow and some go for a while?
