I just ordered a eGo kit from my favorite supplier Cignot.com. I am expecting it today, but i see that people like to use LR attys for them.

I was just planning on using my normal 510 attys and wondered what the benefit of using an LR atty is?

Also any suggestions for parts for the eGo would be appreciated, cases, carts, etc.

Is there such a thing as LR cartos?

I'm not a big carto user, but i think the 'Turbo' cartos from Vapor9 and the 'Premium' cartos from V4L are slightly lower resistance than the usual cartos... but not to the extent that LR attys are. I suspect a true LR carto (say 1.8 ohms) would burn its filling far too easily.

I tried the lr atty on my EGo and ended up trading them away. Yes big th and lots of vapor but they are juice hogs, drain a battery faster, and kill the flavor.
In the end I have put a 901 atty on my Ego and I love it ! Adequate th, plenty of vapor and the flavor is really good. It is miserly on juice and battery lasts longer. My 901 attys dont leak, dont know how that would happen
It is all about choices and personal preference.

It's commonly said the LR don't last as long as std.
Some say the eGo is very efficient w/ the std. attys.

I was about to order those blanks, when I realized they tossed in a flavored carto on my last order that was not a 510... Is it just me, or is the vapor king, not a 510 and therefore the blank prem cartos will not be compatible?
you have to use an adapter to use the 808 cartos...adapters are cheap and work good...i tried a 510 carto, but didnt like it...it vaped pretty good, but was a hard tip...i hear they are doing the soft tipped 510s now, but i already have the adapters and the cartos, so i will stick with the 808's... here is a link to an adapter: 510 to 901/808-D Adapter

Got it... I'll check it out and see if we're on to the next best thing here.

Hello, I have been checking out these LR attys with my Ego. I am currently on my 4th out of 5 LR attys....Other three died - dead and buried...Received them on April 21. So,
3 dead out of 5 within the last 29 days. Each last about 7-10 days....Yes, I really like the extra TH and vapor, but of course they don't last as long as my normal attys...
Oh, bought them from TW....of course I don't think it really matters where I bought them from. LR attys are just made to "Burn-Up" faster and I vape a lot....especially at night...Hope this helps...and Enjoy.
