You would be AMAZED at the ...... and idiots that make it through med school. It is quite sad. I have had so many residents do dumb stuff and make mistakes that could harm a patient...... the saying " thank a nurse for not letting a Doctor kill you" has some merit. :x
If I could play Devil's Advocate for a minute, since we can't technically claim e-cigs as a smoking cessation device, of course there isn't going to be any studies linking the two.

If they do, We need a better planet to move to. First thing to go would be your tongue/lips from the Extreme heat then if your throat didn't blow out, maybe your lungs would EXPLODE from expanding gases.

if vapor was ' a thousand degrees' let alone 'several thousand degrees' our mouths and throats would be burnt off. maybe this guy got his scientific degree at the same place he got his doctors degree- in the mail. he should go to.. somewhere thats several thousand degrees.
I don't think my 18650's provide the kind of energy required to heat ANYTHING to 1000 degrees. And even if they did I'm sure I would notice the smoldering hole where my head used to be.

I think instead of attempting to email one man to convince him he is dead wrong would be counterproductive .. what i am going to do is share my story.. our testimonials to the world about our experience with ecigs make a difference. Sure, the ones that don't quit are frequently admitted to the psych ward, or kill themselves. So the quit percentage is VERY high. This guy is a disgrace.
one more thing.. if Chantix is a 'nicotine receptor blocker' then why does this 'doctor' have to put his patients on the nicotine patch AND Chantix?

This brings up an interesting point.. we are all so worried about Big Tobacco, but rarely is the danger of Big Pharma waging a war against e-cigs mentioned.. BT has less to worry about than BP.. e-cigs are completely taking BP out of the loop, their patches and drugs are being replaced and they dont deal in 'social' type nicotine devices.
not sure if social is the right term.. but i think u can get what i mean? maybe harm reduction from smoking better term but vaping is still social.
... the BP's drugs and patches are an absolute failure, but up until this point, it was the only option available for ppl that wanted to quit smoking. they are probably all stewing in their board rooms and hatching plans to demonize vaping.
