I ordered a started kit for the 510 and a 910, both hubby and I smoke so thought I would order 2 different so we can compare. The chain smoking starts every time I think about or try to quit, analog use increased about a week ago when I decided I had to do something soon. Tracking package showed they were at the Jacksonville main Post Office Friday, I may have them Monday if I am lucky.

That's a good bet, try the two most popular and see what you like. :)

I told myself I was going to quit by 6/1 this year for my 40th b-day. No excuses. And about 2 weeks before that someone mentioned e-cigs. What do you know, I order and get the 901s about a week before my b-day (got 2 kits, one for me and one for my mom). Mom and I both quit a day ahead of schedule. But yeah, prior to that I was smoking up a storm thinking about quitting. So I understand.

But I did quit smoking. Now I vape. What a difference!

Hope you and the hubby enjoy them when they get there. Let us know if you have any questions.

jebur, welcome to the forum and to vaping. Like shiva stated, you picked two very good models to start you and your husband out with. Hopefully you've also ordered some extra liquids too? If not, scout out the different vendors listed in here and check out their sampler packs....it's a great way to taste test different flavors until you decide what flavors you two really like. Also, if you didn't order extra atomizers and batteries, you may want to consider ordering a few of those, as well......nothing worse than becoming relian on your PV only to have a part fail without a back-up. Did you order the 510 with a PCC (portable charging case)? If not, definitely consider picking up one of those. The 510 is a very good device but goes through batteries very quickly! Finally, just vape and enjoy. I personally have not completely quit smoking....just not ready to...but I definitely smoke a lot less! :D So don't put too much pressure on yourselves if you find that you two still want to have an analog every now and then. :)

While it seems many people give up analogs as soon as they try an ecig, it isn't mandatory. I started vaping but continued to smoke analogs. Within about a week I started noticing that the 'real' cigarettes tasted awful, burned my throat and the tip of my tongue, so usually I'd put it out after a few drags. My last pack lasted 10 days (I used to smoke 2-3 packs in a day), and most of them were ones that were bummed by work colleagues.

I bought a pack three days ago to keep in my car to calm my 'stop smoking' anxieties - I haven't stopped smoking, I've started vaping. I don't have a banner in my signature saying how long I've been smoke free. I probably won't feel free to brag that I don't smoke until I truly can't remember when I had my last analogue!
