Hi All!
Been reading this forum for a long time, but never posted. Now I need help as I'm getting into my first RTA, so I'm coming out of the weeds!.
Welcome and glad you joined.
I have provided a little more information which might help with your RTA.

Thanks for the replies, and sorry I haven't replied back. I actually started a thread in the RTA section and forgot to come back here! Damn newbies!

I ended up buying a Geekvape Ammit 22 for my first RTA and I'm really liking it so far. Really easy to build, has great flavor and vapor production, and not a single leak. Still trying to get my coil builds dialed in to my liking, but getting there!

Going to be trying temp control for the first time later today. Wish me luck!!

OK...so I built my coil, got it working well on TC SS mode, but for some reason I'm having an issue with the memory modes/TCR. Here's my set up:

316L SS, 28g (Master of Clouds)
6 wraps (spaced); 3mm ID
.66 ohm (locked in at room temp)

When I use it in TC SS mode, it seems to be working fine. I have it set to 360ºF, which gives me a cool/warm vape, but I feel like it's firing warmer than the setting. If not, I have no idea how some people vape >500º without seriously hurting themselves.

So I figured I would try one of the memory modes. I set M1 to:

TCR: 79 (the suggested setting for 316L)
Power: 20W
Time: .4 seconds

When I choose M1, and set the temperature to 400º, I get nothing but the Temp protect as soon as I fire it. I have yet to get a vape in that mode and I'm clearly doing something wrong. Any ideas?

Going to start a new post in the RTA section as well.

93 is the setting I saw as the standard setting for 316L, but there's a video on the TCR specifically for the Pico:

Setting the TCR to 93 does actually produce some vapor, but very little and too cool even for me.

Also should add. In TC SS mode @360º I get a lot of popping and spitting, which I never got with in VW with Claptons.

Yeah each device is pretty much different on how the TC is going to work. I like a cooler vape also but seem to find it @420f on my dual builds.
The popping can be from too much liquid(flooded) or space in between the coil and cotton.

Yeah...I feel like I'm vaping at way more than 360º. I assumed I would be in the 400º-420º range based on nothing more than people describing their preferences and settings in review/how to videos.

The popping is calming down, so I probably just over-primed when I re-wicked.
