Haha....for me he is a dear 99% of the time. ;-)

Yes, she is a bonus child. And for whatever reason, he won't call her out for some of her amazingly self centered behavior. Shockingly enough, she is bonus for both of us. She was his first wife's first child....she was 3 when he met her. He later adopted her. They (he and wife 1) then had two kids together. When they split, the eldest chose him and except for 6 months or so 8.5 years ago, she has lived with him then us since. The other two chose their mother but have since lived with us. Anyhoo. ...up until the last three or four weeks, the eldest could not stand to be at mom's house for more than a few hours. But the man she broke up with around that time is now renting a room there. She claims that she is just friends with him now but..... ;-)
Yeah. We didn't get hit with the stupid stick That hard!

I'm kind of in 'whatever' mode. When she us ready to tell us what's going on, I'm sure she will.
I'm just packing.... :)

Well, like Robin said ... if she's an adult
Although, don't you guys have her child with you?

Better drop her/him off on your way out of town

No, actually, that child Only typically gets babysat by her mom. We only seem to get to keep an eye on her if she wants to go for a walk after the child is in bed....but then, she and her mom are typically with us 99% of the time. I love them both but that girl (our eldest) can be awfully trying at times. I will say this, even if she is really distracted lately, there is no chance she would leave her child to live somewhere she wasn't.

Well, his fault for opening so many stores so quickly. I'll be inquiring about the office job tomorrow. Hopefully that's an option still. It'll be fine.

So how ya doin after all the packing and vacuuming?

    I'm tired but okay :)
You'd be surprised at the work out you can get from opening and closing that vacuum machine so many time's in a day ... and mashing all those 1 pound burger packages flat 8-o  And then slinging 25 to 40 pounds of meat up in a stack six feet tall
    Over my head!! :D

How many did he open and will they all be closed if he goes under?
Gosh ... it's been a while since you were offered that job

Yeah I bet! I don't think I'm physically fit enough to do your job

He opened 15 in the space of 6 months. My store was his second a year ago. So all together he has 17 and as of now, if it goes under as far as I'm aware they'll all go.
