Sorry, I know it rains often over your way It's just that we had gotten so dry and hot lately after a relatively cool summer, in the lower 70's today!

I talked to dad last night & of course he didn't want a big fuss made about him...and as usual I did it anyway.
He went to the dentist yesterday & was having some pain in his chest so they dentist staff had him taken to the hospital. They kept him overnight. He had a heart attack in 2002 which required bypass surgery & stints (I think that's what they're called) put in just a couple of months ago. They don't think it's his heart so it's probably the scar tissue.
Where the heck is Bill Clinton's cardiologist when you need him? I tell dad that all the time and he laughs but I recall him having the same problems my dad has after his heart attack & he had a surgery that helped so I'm dead serious!
Anyway, I just spoke with him & he has a follow up appt with his doc & had just been discharged a few minutes ago.
