Bobbi, thanks so much for the pattern!! I blogged it, so I'll have it to try!

Shad, hope you feel better quick!!

Bye Dale, HAVE FUN!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Chim, Can't remember if you're napping, on the phone, or have left...sorry.

...oh, I LOVE broccoli. In fact we're having it with dinner (later...much later than we thought):lol::lol:

Well, we're home. Got home about 6.
The floor prep took longer than we expected. We got all that done, and DH did get an area started with the grout work before we called it a day. :)
Came home, DH got a shower, ready to throw a dinner on the grill, he went to add some water to the pool, and the outside faucet broke. :(
So he had to shut the water off, get that apart, could NOT get it to budge, so he had to cut the pipe. He's now on his way to Lowe's or Home Depot. (they close in about 45 minutes)

Bless his heart!! He's going to sleep GOOD tonight.

Poor thing! All day on tile then get hit with plumbing. That stinks!

Here is a link for a picture and a pattern for a collar. It is a fast moving stitch. I use multiples of 3 for baby or dainty items and 5 with a heavier yarn for afghans. It looks very nice with variegated yarn too. Easy Broomstick Lace Collar, or Scarf, Pattern | Speckless Blog

VERY pretty!! Bookmarked that too. Thank you again. Yes, he just got back home from the hardware store.
I know, it stinks, but at least it will be done. Thank GOD above it happened to him, and not to me...on an evening that he's out of town.
So, there is a silver lining. :)

Bless your heart!! I wish you were closer, I'd make you a protein shake. Maybe a milk shake if you can't get anyone to go get you something....any ice cream on hand??? Or a smoothie of some sort maybe....

Well, I'm off again. ;)

trying not to overload myself with sugar although you had to say milkshake that does sound good
well that and sticking to bland foods so the sores in my mouth can hopefully heal faster

Sorry you feel so bad! Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you for the chair. I was just using this old thing...I'm funny like that, like old things most of the time. I'm afraid I'd get so comfy in yours I might never get up again!

Seriously though, I would love to find one of these to recover and refinish!

I know how those silver linings can be!

Oh my, this would be so nice to have! I use either a J or K most of the time...it would be so nice for my new old eye sight!

That would be good for the dark yarns too!! I edged a granny square afghan in black for all my last rows, then crocheted them together to join...in black. I had to work with a task light, and a hope and a prayer that my stitches were going to come out right, and that I didn't skip any.

I have a crochet hook that is as big as those fat magic markers. I use two strands with it, LOVE IT, they work up really quickly too.

So far so good

More firework's arriving just now
These kids have spent a fortune!!

I'm cheating, out on the deck with the little laptop

Last time we bought fireworks we were shocked at the prices and that has been years ago now! Enjoy all the sparkles and pops! :)

All good here, he's been done for about an hour now, we've eaten, and I just wanted to pop in and say goodnight.

Dale, so glad you're enjoying yourself!!!

DH and I were just discussing that at dinner while we were listening to the people who live the next street over shooting off theirs for a second night....that they have to be expensive, because they're shooting off NICE ones. I noticed several cars there when we came back from the lake, so maybe several pooled the fireworks. :)
