Hiya Dale :)

Hope you 2 feel better :)
Good morning JD
I'm a little better at the moment :) Laid in the hottest water I could stand and wearing my back belt now. Probably won't get anything done today though, guess it's a good thing I did all the laundry yesterday :?:

What are you doing with your day off? :)
Good morning lurkers :wub::wub::wub:

Had a message this morning that my niece had an emergency C-section. Twin boys at 26 weeks. Baby A has since passed and Baby B was sent flight for life to Wichita. We would appreciate your prayers for Baby B and the family.
Good morning Bobbi

I'm so so sorry  Prayers for baby B and family :(

Hey MD:wub:
Yes! It's been too long! I keep meaning to check in but of course something always pops up. I finally got the boys down for a nap and wanted to make sure I checked in before something else popped up. Lol

The boys are doing great. They're 8 months old now and all over the place pulling up on everything. That keeps me super busy.

I'm maintaining. Still having the same health issues but I go to see the rheumatologist in a month and now they want me to see a pain management doctor. The pain has also started causing me to have anxiety so I'm dealing with that and trying new meds. I could go on and on but I'm just trying to keep it all together in the meantime and stay as positive as I can.

Enough about me, how have you been?

I do understand how busy you must be with those two fellas :) Wow, unbelievable that they are already 8 months old huh? They grow so so darn fast at that age o_O

I'm sorry you are having so much physical stuff on your plate too ... been having a LOT of sympathy for you since yesterday. Did something to my back and am having some (temporary) pain ;)

What are they doing about your anxiety? That makes it so much worse :(

Yes they keep me moving:laugh:
I can't believe it either! I know I always say this but it really is going by too fast for me. They're not my tiny lil babies anymore.

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon! Back pain is never any fun even if it's temporary. Have you been using a heating pad or anything. That usually helps some for me...along with meds. Hahaha!

I had an appointment with my doc this morning and she gave me some meds to try. Hopefully it helps some. I felt like someone was sitting on my chest Friday. I've never had anxiety before. That was the scariest feeling I've ever had. I'm pretty sure I freaked Reggie out when I called him at work.

Yeah, I know a little about anxiety myself; sorry you are experiencing that :(

Haven't been using a heating pad yet, took a really hot bath this morn (pink legs :D ) and am wearing a back belt now ... would like to avoid med's today if possible :/

Wait until those little fellas start school hon ... you'll be one of those that cries I bet

Just looked into the anxiety meds. It's something called Nortriptyline. Fingers crossed that it doesn't make me drowsy.

Hummm, maybe that will help, sure hope so!

this medication is used to treat mental/mood problems such as depression. It may help improve mood and feelings of well-being, relieve anxiety and tension, and increase your energy level. This medication belongs to a class of medications called tricyclic antidepressants. It works by affecting the balance of certain natural chemicals (neurotransmitters) in the brain.

Yes! I will cry for sure. Lol! I've never been one to cry much but I swear since they've been born I've cried more than I have in the last 10 years.

I know you've talked about it before. I guess we both can relate to each other a bit better now. It's the strangest kind of feeling. I kept trying to explain what it felt like to Reggie and I don't think I did a good job.

Awe. Hopefully that will give you some relief. You know how much I hate taking meds so I can't blame you for not wanting to take them but please don't let it get too bad before you decide too.

That was what I found too. My doc described it differently but I guess it prob has several different uses.

Seems like most of those type med's are used for an unusual variety of things o_O

And yes, I know you hate taking med's but in your situation you really have too :( Are you reconsidering having surgery on your back? And yeah yeah ... I can hear you already .... you can't because of the down time  But maybe once you recovered things would be so much better for you? :?:

Yes. It seems like everything is like that these days. She said it would help with anxiety but she also said it might help a lil with pain.

Uggh! I know I know. Lol! Trust me I've had to take them these past few months. I know I'll have to do the surgery eventually. I guess I've just been trying to hold off as long as I could. I figured I'd talk with the pain management specialist about that when I go and see what they recommend.

Err... you're not having that post-partum depression are you?

No. Not that kind of crying. But I'll see a sad movie and cry or something like that. Normally I'd pick at my sister for crying about that mushy kind of stuff.
